Hey Stephanie,
Zoiezo congratulations on your new pregnancy, hope everything goes well this time..
But I would really get in touch with the doctor, whether it's life-threatening in their eyes or not... You can always call to get some information..
How far along do you think you are?
Greetings Bianca -

And you don't want to scare or disappoint anyone, but are you sure it's not giving a positive test result because of the miscarriage? ...
I've heard that this really stays in your body for a few weeks...
I hope things go well this time, and that you're simply pregnant and won't get your period anyway, I'm saying this because you mentioned having severe menstrual cramps.
Best, Bianca -

Hi Bianca,
Thank you so much!
You're right, my friend also just told me that I should have called anyway... I'll wait until tonight after dinner.
I'm really glad you made this comment.
I hadn't thought at all that it could be due to my miscarriage. I hope it's not... We really want a second baby, but at least now I can prepare myself for what if... Thanks for your response. It lifts my spirits, because I can't talk to anyone in my circle about it until we have certainty...
Kind regards, Stephanie -

Hi Monique
Maybe a bit late, but I’ve been through it too.. After 6 months of doing it properly, suddenly it stopped and the test was negative.. Your body can protest for a while, stress can also be a cause. That the test is negative could be because you maybe had intercourse a few hours earlier..? I also got my period again after 3 months and had no signs of pregnancy at all according to the gynecologist.. -

I had sex at the beginning of this month. Really stupid, without a condom... And really stupid, I don't take the pill.. Now it's the end of the month and I had kind of heartburn in the beginning.. For two weeks now it feels like I'm getting my period and I look while peeing and see nothing..
I had sex without him cumming inside me and now I feel terrible. I have a friend and I'm afraid I have to choose between my child or her..
I really want a child but not now.. I'm going to do a pregnancy test tomorrow and I'm really, really afraid it will be positive. Help.. Is it possible to get rid of it this early or do I have to keep it? -

Hi! I'm 12 days late and still not on my period, but I am tired, nauseous, and dizzy! Took a test and it was negative
( How long should I wait to take another test?
Thanks, have a nice evening!! -

Hey anonymous,
Maybe it's best to make an appointment with your GP. They can do a blood test and quickly find out if you're pregnant or not.
Could it be that your cycle is a bit longer, and that ovulation happened a bit later?
Good luck with it.

Thanks Bianca for your reply. I did get my period on time, since I was tracking my ovulation! But I’ll wait a few more days this week, then I’ll call my GP. Otherwise I’ll just keep waiting
Have a nice evening! -

Hey ladies,
I have something I want to share.
I'm now 6 weeks late.
A month ago, I had unprotected sex on the day I ovulated. I forgot to take 2 pills, 1 week before my expected period. I had a little bit of bleeding for 3 days, but not much. After that, I've had pretty bad pain in my breasts/nipples, a bloated belly, my breasts are 2 cup sizes bigger, I feel nauseous, and I have lower back pain. I've done 4 tests, all negative, and 2 blood tests were also negative. Next week I'm having an ultrasound.
Does anyone recognize this?

I'm dealing with the following.
I have an irregular cycle. Last year it was every 5-6 weeks.
My last period was on April 24th, so about 7 weeks ago.
I thought last week I'd get my period, but I just had some brown discharge and a bit of red, but very little. Normally it always starts with cramps and bright red blood. I still had 1.5 days left. Then I started doubting. I also felt nauseous, my breasts got bigger, and I tested today with a Kruitvat brand test, but it's negative! Any tips? My partner and I both think it should be a positive test! -

Who can help me?
I've had a cycle every 5 to 6 weeks for the past year.
My last period was on April 24th, so it's been about 7 weeks now.
I thought I'd get my period last week, but it started with brown blood, and later a bit brighter red, but very minimal, and it was gone after 1.5 days. It normally always starts with bright red blood and lasts 5 days or a week for me. I'm also experiencing nausea, larger breasts, fatigue, and when I press under my navel it feels different, harder... I tested today but it was negative; we both feel like it should be positive. Any tips? -

What you describe (sensitive breasts, tight lower abdomen) could be due to the hormone progesterone, which your body produces before your period. I think you're not pregnant, because otherwise your test would be positive.
I've heard that sometimes periods can be very short. If it wasn't your period last week but rather spotting, it just means your cycle is a bit longer this time.
Have you been trying for a while? If so, you could talk to your doctor about your cycle. Maybe have them check your blood for hormones.
Good luck!
Kind regards,

I read your message on my profile.
I tested positive last week, and my test was already positive 4 days before my expected period. I’ve also read stories saying tests can turn positive later, but I don’t really believe that.
If you want to try to conceive, you can order ovulation tests online and start testing next month. That way, you’ll know exactly when you’re ovulating and when your period should start.
Were you on the pill before? -

It could indeed have been an implantation bleed. In that case, you could test again in a few days. -

Yeah, I've been thinking about that too. Because I've never had this in all the years I've been on my period. That's why I'm so doubtful. My breasts have really gotten significantly bigger over the past 2 weeks. I'm really wondering if the test was done too early... Or if it's reliable.. We're still young (almost 20 and 22.) Never been on the pill or anything like that! -

Hi hi, I'm now 15 days overdue and have been off the contraceptive pill for over a year. I've already taken 20 tests, but they're all negative... though after an hour I see a faint line... I'm not sure anymore, has anyone had experience with this? My cycle is usually 30 to 35 days. Last period was on April 20th. -

I'll test it again tomorrow, because I don't fully trust it anyway. I'm really curious. I'll just see if the ones from the kruitvat 2w5 got it right.
Still sore breasts and haven't gotten my period yet, nausea is much less or gone... But in my opinion, it wasn't my period... What do you all think? (see story above!) -

Lovebaby, you can get a blood test for hCG to confirm if you're pregnant.
Anoniemxx, I'm curious about your next test. Let me know?
