    Yeah, it takes a long time, doesn't it? You read that it can take that long, but you don't expect it!

    Yeah, the uncertainty is really awful.

    Unfortunately, my partner doesn't want to do anything to help me.

    I don't use ovulation tests.

    No, I know... Still 5 months to wait and then we can! Not to hope, of course We're just assuming a positive test!! Are you irregular? I also had a break for a few months in between, your body does so weird things during the pill break :/... Are you going to do another test?

    Hi,
    Just a quick question.
    I haven't had my period this month, my boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant for a while now. But now my period is late, I was supposed to get it on March 31st. I took two pregnancy tests, but they were both negative... I do have pregnancy symptoms though, the ones you get early on. My boyfriend wants us to go to the gynecologist to find out more because it's so strange. But what could this be? I haven't had any stress or anything that could affect it. I really find it so weird. And now I'm completely scared about what the doctor will say.
    Does anyone know this?

    Good evening ladies! What a lovely group this is!

    I'll share my story. We're now in round 8 and I've actually been tracking my cycle regularly ever since I stopped the pill. My last period started on April 29th, so according to my normal cycle, I'm now 15 days late. I've taken several tests from various brands, but unfortunately, they've all been negative! I really feel like I could be pregnant. I could almost cross off the whole symptom list, but my courage is starting to sink into my shoes. I'm not even daring to hope anymore. I've considered all possible reasons for a late period, including stress, which I actually haven't had in the past few months! No extreme weight loss either. I did notice some changes, but nothing extreme or really significant. And nothing else weird either; this was actually a month where I wasn't focusing so much on it because it was becoming so frustrating that it just wasn't happening, so I tried to let it go a bit by picking up some hobbies again. I haven't seen my GP yet because I'm afraid they'll just send me home with a "test again in 2 weeks" answer. I tested again this morning and it was negative, so I'll test again after the weekend and otherwise, I'll just have to go to the doctor.

    Reading your stories does me good!
    And who knows, maybe there's someone else out there in the same boat right now.

    Hi ladies. I've read a lot but I'm going to ask my question here anyway.

    I stopped the pill on May 22nd and got my period two days later. It lasted a neat 5 days.
    Then I didn't get my period again until July 14th. So that was the first period without the pill.
    That one was also a neat 5 days. Since July 14th I haven't gotten my period anymore. So now it's been 8 weeks already. I have a lot of pregnancy symptoms but have tested negative 3 times. I'm really going crazy with this uncertainty

    Does anyone have advice.
    I keep feeling like I'm pregnant???

    I'm 8 days overdue tomorrow. Had light pinkish-red bleeding yesterday for about an hour. I've taken 4 tests now, all negative. What should I do? Wait a bit or call the GP?

    Hi everyone!

    I stopped taking the pill in July and have always gotten my period regularly since then!
    Now I'm 3 days late and have had sharp, stabbing pain near my groin whenever I make certain movements.
    I've taken 2 tests, both negative, and went to the doctor yesterday to check where the pain is coming from. I'm supposed to get an ultrasound for my groin on Friday. It's a weird story, but I really still hope I am pregnant because we're trying for our 2nd child. Does anyone recognize this?

    Ladies,

    Quick question: I'm a month overdue and haven't gotten my period. I've done tests up until now, all negative. I have a bloated belly, get tired quickly, and sorry to say, lots of gas in my stomach. I called my GP, and she keeps telling me to wait it out. Unfortunately, I don't know what to do. At night, I also have severe pain in the lower part of my abdomen. I really want to get pregnant, but because of the pain and not getting my period, I'm not sure what to do anymore.

    Hi girls,
    I have a question for you. I really want to get pregnant and this is the fourth month since I stopped the pill. After stopping the pill, I had an irregular cycle for the last three months. This month I haven't gotten my period anymore, so it's been a month since I last had my period. So far, this has been my longest month without a period. I have a lot of pain in my lower abdomen, a bloated stomach, and a lot of rumbling in my belly. I also have a lot of gas. I called my GP, and she keeps saying I should wait and test to see if I'm pregnant. But I really want to get pregnant, and so far, I've tested many times and all results have been negative. Who can help me, or who has had these symptoms too.

    I have a question.

    We stopped the pill in January. I had my period on the 16th in both January and February. This month, I still haven't gotten it (so I'm about a week late). I took a test, unfortunately negative

    What should I do now? I do have a bit of "period-like cramping."

    Hi! Just a quick question... My last period was on June 30th. My cycle is irregular. I'm not on my period yet, but I have the feeling I should be. Every time I go to the toilet, though, there's nothing. I'm not sure what to do now. With my previous pregnancy, which ended in a miscarriage, I didn't have any symptoms at all—no nausea, no headaches, nothing. So I just didn't feel like I was pregnant, even though I was. But what should I do now? Wait a few more days and test again, or call my doctor tomorrow? Hope to hear from you soon!

    Hi hi,

    I've been reading along on the forums for a while now, and we're 4 days overdue. I've already had 3 negative tests and I'm trying to convince myself I'm not pregnant, but my period still hasn't started.

    We really want to get pregnant, so this is very frustrating. We stopped the pill in March, and I do feel tired and have some breast tenderness. I'm also urinating a lot, but I usually have to pee often anyway, so I'm not sure if it's more than normal.

    Help! When's the best time to test again?

    Good afternoon,
    I stopped taking the pill in mid-October.
    My first cycle was 32 days.
    Now I'm 2 days late, so around a 34-day cycle.
    I've had stomach pain for 2 weeks now, and my breasts are really sore.
    Does this mean anything?? My test is negative, I'm so scared I won't be able to get pregnant.

    That sounds like an approaching period. I always had so much discomfort in my breasts, really painful and also annoying, because it feels like your body is preparing for a pregnancy while you're just getting your period. You can wait at least 48 hours and then take another test, of course.

    I'm now 4 days late, I've taken tests and they're all negative. I've been on the pill for years because I'd like a second one. What could be the reason?
