Hey mama2
Thanks for your sweet, supportive messages every time. It feels good to read that there are others who feel the same or have felt like you did. Then you also understand the feeling that you're going crazy, still no sign of a drop, still the same with the discharge, have a bit of cramps (feeling of period) just like other days, no other complaints, yes a bit of a lump in my throat, but nothing comes out.. It'll all loosen up, two more days of patience, see what Friday morning brings, positive or negative again, hihi exciting....
Hope that patience this time is rewarded with a positive test hahaha :-)
See you soon, BiancaBianca -

Yeah, definitely feeling a bit tight outside, hehe. I guess it's a very faint pink line since the test area is already white... :-) Looks good. Yeah, check back here first thing tomorrow morning :-). Morning urine is also the best. One tip: drink very little tonight. That way the morning urine will be more concentrated, you know. Oh, so exciting! Keep my fingers crossed, hehe. -

Well, I'll tell you this: the line wasn't really pink at all, it was actually white. And indeed, the test window is also white, but here there's a faint white line, or maybe it should have been very light pink... I don't understand anything about it, and it's a shame I can't take a photo of it because it's almost impossible to see. I'll just wait until tomorrow and test with first morning urine. Thanks for your tip, I'll indeed drink less tonight.
I'll let you know tomorrow
I'm really curious...
Greetings, Bianca

Exciting! I'm cheering you on tomorrow!
Here on day 36. Should I maybe consider taking a test? -
bianca1986 #65
Good evening!! Is it already tomorrow hahaha
Trying a test can't hurt.. Hahaha I know exactly what that uncertainty feels like hahaha I've probably thrown 40 tests at myself these past months hahaha lol
Can't wait for tomorrow morning, and I'll really be disappointed if it's another negative test...
Keep us updated, I'm really curious, who knows, maybe you'll get a positive test this time.. Good luck
And you'll hear from me, girls....
Greetings Bianca -

I'll definitely keep you posted!
You know what? If your test is positive, I'll take mine too. If it's negative, I'll wait a little longer. Okay?
Haha, exciting! -

I'm dealing with exactly the same problem, as you all describe. Since I stopped the pill in January, I had a regular cycle of 24 days... until last Monday, when my period was due. I tested yesterday and unfortunately it was negative. I read that it can take longer for your cycle to regulate after stopping the pill, which brings a lot of uncertainty. It's strange to have a few months of a regular cycle and then face this situation. It's just a matter of waiting. I wish you all the best and good news! -

Hey k
Hahaha that's good hihihi, if I know anything I'll let you know right away, I'm really curious
And it's definitely exciting for all of us, because we're all in the same boat really ...
You'll hear from me tomorrow hahaha
Hello Vanja
Nice that you left a message too, yeah that insecurity sucks pff, I totally understand but I have to say I've been off the pill for more than two years now, on my internist's advice... So for me it can't be "un-pilling" anyway hihi, and since I stopped I've had a nice cycle of about 30 days, and every month a proper period, except this month haha, you just have to be patient because so far I've only had negative tests in my hands, and no period either, very frustrating pooh pooh, you must have so much patience in such a process, tomorrow morning I'm going to test with first morning urine, I did all the other tests in the afternoon, I hope for a positive test if not I'll call the doctor on Monday because then I'll be 10 to 11 days late..
I wish you all the best too, and hope to hear positive results from all of you, so that we can laugh hard about it all later hihi
Sleep well everyone,
Greetings Bianca ... -

Good morning ladies
I wanted to keep you updated, I took the test, didn't drink much last night but the test is still negative. I'm getting a bit overwhelmed with everything and steam is just about to come out of my ears hahaha what a difficult situation
Maybe a weird question but if you quit smoking can your menstrual cycle change? It seems like it to me because I quit once before and then everything was fine..
Girls I could cry
I don't know what to do anymore, having a negative test in my hand all the time doesn't help either.. Just wait, I'll get my period somewhere next week
really frustrating... Now 7 days late.. I don't understand anything at all ...

Have a nice day girls.. Greetings from me ... -

Good morning ladies,
Bianca, I think you should wait it out after all. I completely understand your disappointment. Try to relax over the weekend (even though it's hard). Maybe it's also a good idea to contact your GP next week.
As for smoking, dear Bianca, that doesn't affect your cycle but your metabolism as far as I know.
This morning I thought, well, bring on the test. I was in the process of collecting the sample, and while doing so I started bleeding, so I'm on my period.. Oh well, it's disappointing, but on the other hand, I now know where I stand.
It's nice that we can at least discuss this topic here together. Let's hope for the days when we can share the good news here. I wish you all a relaxing weekend ladies, we deserve it too (even if it's sometimes difficult)!
Love,
Vanja -

Oh, that's such a bummer. The disappointment after a negative test is really big, isn't it? So many things go through your head: the test isn't accurate, should I buy a different kind, maybe I tested too early, maybe that test will never turn positive for me. That's why I want to wait a little longer. Once my period starts, at least I know a new cycle has begun, but if you know you're not pregnant and your period is still 10 days away, pfft, that feels like forever. -
bianca1986 #72
Hi ladies,
The disappointment is indeed really big because you just don't know where you stand. If my period would just come, then I'd know, or well, at least then you'd have a bit more certainty. Now I'm just stuck holding onto a test that keeps being negative, but my period won't show up.
Very weird and irritating..
Well girls, thanks for your sweet messages anyway. I'll keep you updated, and you keep me updated too, I get a lot of support here..
Still getting cramps, just like with my period, but still a little different. I do have a slight fever anyway, I know that for sure..
Well girls, you'll hear from me again. Have a nice day everyone, take it easy and hope for some positive tests and stories soon hihi ...
Greetings and lots of love..
Weekend is coming up, hoping for some nice weather,
Tomorrow is day 8 overdue, Monday I'll take my last test. If it's negative? Then I'll definitely call the doctor, I can't keep sitting in uncertainty.. -
bianca1986 #73
Ugh, not sleeping again,
Ladies, day eight is coming up... My cramps are almost gone, they come and go, now almost nothing at all, still have a fever though...
Uncertainty, patience, or will it turn out differently? That's what wears you out, all that waiting, patience, tension, stress, and uncertainty.. I now know what you and others felt all that time when they were in the same boat as me, hehe
Gosh
Girls, sleep well, you're probably already sleeping comfortably,
I'll update tomorrow hahaha

Lots of love from me -
bianca1986 #74
Hi girls,
Just a quick update from me. I took a test yesterday and there was a faint pink line. I woke up this morning and, sure enough, my period started—not just a little bit either. I'm more sad about it than I expected
I don't get it
My test showed a faint pink line, and now this...
See you soon, girls. Lots of love. -

Oh girl, that is indeed really tough. First the hope from a test, and then the next day this. Your moment will definitely come. Your wish is just so strong, and when you're overdue and then the MS comes, it hits extra hard... stay strong. -
K #76
Oh no, silly. It might be a meager pile, but you can start a fresh cycle again now.
I'm on day 40 myself, took a test and, as expected, negative. Now waiting to see when my period comes. It could take 50 days... grrr
Come on, good luck to everyone! -
bianca1986 #77
Girls? ?
Don't forget to send them in, hehe! I'm curious to hear your stories
Love, Bianca -

Hi ladies,
I had my Mirena IUD removed 2 months ago...
Since then, I've been trying for my 2nd cycle, my cycle has been around 30 days since then and I'm now about 3 days late... I've taken 2 tests but both were negative
But otherwise, I feel totally pregnant... I get occasional sharp pains in my groin, aching pain in my belly, I'm tired, need to pee a lot more...
I don't know what to think anymore... before my IUD, I could always set my clock by when my period was due..
Does anyone have experience after having the Mirena IUD removed? -
bianca1986 #79
Hi mamavan2meisjes,
I don't know much about this, but I do know that your body might need to "detox" a bit, if you will. So it's quite possible you're just overdue because your body is trying to get your cycle back on track. I'd say wait until you're about 10 days overdue, then take another test. I'm saying this because every 1.5 to 3 days your hCG hormone levels double, so there's a good chance something will show up by then. I think if you call your GP now, they'll probably say it's because you just had the Mirena removed and that you should wait and see.
Maybe it sounds strange, but having sex might help? At least it did for me. I was 9 days overdue, and then suddenly... boom!
Good luck, let me know how things go.
Warm regards, Bianca
Have a nice evening. -

@Bianca1986: thank you for your quick response!!
Still no sign of anything today...
this uncertainty is driving me crazy...
I've done 2 tests with CB and now I'm reading here that they don't detect hCG in the early stages... Now I'm wondering if I should get a Kruidvat test instead...
Greetings, Kristel
