Can you guys help? I've been getting this kind of white stuff for a whole month. I even have to use maxi pads otherwise I'm leaking through. What can I do about it.

Sounds like you have a yeast infection....

Yeah girl, you’ve really gone too far.. I don’t know what’s going on in your private life that makes you react so intensely and antisocially.. but I don’t think you should insult a disease that people die from.. I don’t know where your parents hang out or if they even care about you.. but this is a serious topic and these ladies are trying to support each other and give advice. So respect that and show respect to these ladies too, then you can expect the same in return.. you can’t come here like a 13-year-old girl demanding advice..

Oh sorry, okay, I won't ask or say anything anymore.. You've given me self-confidence, thank you..

    Hi everyone,

I'm new here, and I'm going a bit crazy. I'm two days late, and I feel pregnant, but my tests are negative. I've done several tests—Kruidvat, Action, Clear Blue, etc.—and they're all negative. I don't understand it at all. I do have some symptoms. My last period was on April 3rd; it only lasted 3 days and was a bit bloody, then brownish afterwards. Sorry for the gory details, but I need to get it off my chest because I'm banging my head against the wall. Any tips? Should I wait and test again?

    Kind regards,

    Hi everyone,

Are there still people here? Or is this topic already closed or something?

Looking forward to your reply or tips..

Hope to hear from you soon!!

    Best,

    Hi Bianca,

Test again in three days if you haven't gotten your period by then. If you are pregnant, it might be that you still have too little hCG. It increases every three days.

    Greetings, mamavan2

Ah, thank you for your reply. Indeed, I’m going to test again this week. I hear and read a lot of stories about hCG hormones not showing up in tests, and even in blood tests where it’s not visible, they’re referred on and turn out to have been pregnant for weeks already. But anyway, I shouldn’t get ahead of myself. I just know that I normally get my period right on time, never late or anything. I’ll keep you posted on how things go if you’d like. Thanks again for your reply, it’s really nice.

Good luck to everyone, and to those who just found out they’re pregnant—congratulations from the bottom of my heart. I hope you all have a beautiful pregnancy, without any discomfort, hehe.

    Greetings, Bianca

You're welcome, Bianca :-). Of course I'm happy to keep you updated. Good luck with your exams!
Haha, it's totally fine to have symptoms. It just confirms your hormones are doing their thing.
I'm currently pregnant with my third child. The first twelve weeks are over, and the symptoms are easing up, but as long as the little one is doing well, my own body doesn't mind. It'll bounce back once this miracle is safely born. I guess I'm also more used to it because we couldn't keep our second child at home; they were born at 21 weeks of pregnancy.
Are you preparing for your first one already, and has it been a while? It's all so exciting, isn't it?

    Kind regards

Nice to see your reply and thank you so much for commenting..

I actually stopped the pill more than two years ago because they found a blood clot in my liver, which was likely caused by the pill. We've only been trying for about five months; this would be the sixth month if I had been getting my period normally, but this is the first time I'm really late. I've wanted a child since I was 16 and I'm now 27. I always find it a miracle when you get to have a baby, and it's so sad losing your little wonder at 21 weeks. I'm glad things are going well with the little one in your belly. I'm crossing my fingers for you that you have a beautiful and healthy baby. I assume they're keeping a close eye on you? Don't you find all of this scary? Aren't you very insecure about your body letting you down again? Or do you see it as another miracle that you got to become and be pregnant again? If you think I'm asking annoying questions or something, just say so—it's all new to me too.

I wish you, you all, a lovely evening... Thanks again for your reply, and we'll talk again soon, it's so nice.. It's lovely to exchange all these little things, tidbits, and facts..

    Greetings, Bianca

    Hi everyone

Just a quick update: I still haven't gotten my period and there's not a single drop to be seen. I've got a little bit of cramping low in my belly, but otherwise no complaints. I'm curious to see what happens next—will my period finally start, or is there maybe a little one creeping in? We'll just have to wait and see. I'm going a bit crazy from waiting, haha, but I have to be patient because my Clear Blue test was negative yesterday... patience, patience, patience, hahaha.

    Have a nice day, ladies...
    Best, Bianca

    Hi Bianca,

Weekend is over again. With this good weather I'm not much behind the computer I see you've already written quite a bit. Why aren't you a member of Brabbels? It's much easier

Oh how exciting!!! Sounds all positive. When are you going to test again??

No, you're not asking any annoying questions at all. My body didn't let me down. The little one simply had a severe chromosomal abnormality. She wasn't compatible with life outside the womb. We found that out with the 20-week ultrasound.

Now indeed extra checks, but if everything looks good with the 13-week ultrasound (early 20-week scan), the extra checks are over. Every time you get pregnant is a big miracle I luckily haven't had much patience every time. All 3 times in the first month pregnant.

Oh I read that you used a Clear Blue. I read from many ladies that those tests need a lot of hCG hormone. Kruidvat's own brand seems to react earlier.
  13. Bianca Guest #53

    Thanks for your reply,

And yes, I know the stories about Clear Blue haha, but I was still stubborn and bought one anyway haha. But today I did a test from the Action, they're €1.50 for two, but I don't know if it works. I thought I'd see something, but I also know my own thoughts because I want it so much :-) Still no sign of anything, just a bit of yellowish discharge. I don't know if that's normal or not, and my face is very dry in certain spots, phew phew. I don't know if all this is supposed to be part of it, I don't know hihi.. I'm going crazy from the uncertainty. I'm now going to the village and I'll get the Kruidvat test there. I assume it's two for five euros?

And becoming a member of this site, I assume you meant registering? Hahaha I'm just responding to what you've said.. And then you'll also hear how and what about the test..

    Greetings, Bianca

Every body reacts differently. You can never really say for sure... you know your own body and you know for yourself whether it suits you or not.... I always used Kruidvat's own brand with the purple cap. I find those easier to use and more hygienic.... it does get quite thrilling though..... keep your fingers crossed. Yes, I mean registering.
  15. bianca1986 #55

Well, I signed up hahaha, maybe this is way easier,

I took the tests, but unfortunately they're still negative. I'm wondering if my body is just playing tricks on me hahaha. I haven't been on the pill for over two years now, always really neatly on the third of the month hahaha, and now absolutely nothing. I'm wondering how long I should wait before taking other steps

And coming back to your story, mamavan2, I really hope everything keeps going well for you and your little miracle Keep me updated on how things are going. If it doesn't happen today, tomorrow I'll be 5 days late, pff, exciting..

Greetings, have a nice day, great weather today, isn't it?
  16. M #56

Oh, what a bummer! Then it's very likely not implantation anymore... You never know, maybe in a few days it will be. Do you also feel like your period is coming???

I'll definitely do that. Of course, everything will go well with this one. When your baby is in your belly, you already have maternal feelings about it and you can feel whether things are going well or not, and those feelings are usually right.

For some, the test only turns positive after a week or two. It just depends on when implantation happened...

Thank you, you too have a lovely evening
  17. bianca1986 #57

    Thanks for your message :-)
No, I'm almost sure it's not implantation bleeding, seems very unlikely since I normally always get my third period, very weird, and I've never had this before, and what I find strange is that I just really don't feel any period coming on, had some light cramps yesterday and today, not painful, more like irritation.. Sometimes a sharp stab in between, but that's actually only once and it goes away again.. :s I'm still unsure, and will just try testing again in three days, and just do it normally tomorrow is day 5
If I'm not on my period by day 10, I'll go to the doctor on Monday... Because I'm just getting more and more unsure, I'm already so impatient hahaha, but I'm not used to this at all hahaha

Have a nice evening, and to the rest who are still here hihi
See you again tomorrow.. Sleep well for now - so - later
  18. bianca1986 #58

    Thanks for your message

Well, now 5 days overdue hahaha and no, still not seeing a single drop at the moment.
I'm so curious, just still that weird discharge, yes I'm feeling pretty free at the moment, but I do have distractions though hihi :-)

But these days are really exciting, and I just find it awful because something else might be going on and I'll just be hoping for a miracle But yeah, I think it's really just a matter of waiting a bit more, and I'll take another test on Friday, maybe then there'll be more certainty..

Have a nice day, and I'll talk to you soon,

    Greetings Bianca

    Hi ladies,

I've been reading your stories and I think we're in the same boat! After stopping the pill, I've had a very irregular and long cycle. The first one was 38 days and the second 46. Of course, I tested a few times back then. Always negative, of course. Ultimate disappointment. Currently, I'm on day 35 and haven't tested yet. I don't really feel pregnant and I'm not in the mood for another negative test. Sounds silly, right,...

Bianca, I wish you lots of luck on Friday when you test again.
  20. M #60

That's just your insecurity, girl. I totally know the feeling of doubting yourself and thinking you might be a "phantom pregnancy." That's what I thought with this pregnancy until I got that positive test. Just two more days of patience. I know it seems like a long way off. I had a very important check-up for the little one and the days just flew by...
