5 mm, 6 weeks and 0 days.
It's really impossible. The OB-GYN said so herself. I've been closely monitoring my ovulation with ultrasounds and blood tests for progesterone levels. She said there's definitely still hope since the heartbeat looks so good. And that she's seen this more often. But also that it could go the other way. We're going on vacation next Friday. She thought it was too early and not worthwhile to check again then. So we'll have another scan a week later, on the day we return. I'm trying to stay positive, but I guess I'm protecting myself by expecting the worst...
Hope it works out for you soon! First baby? -

MJB, I'm just now reading the not-so-good news from you... Let's hope it has a beautiful outcome..
I'm cheering really hard for you
..
Mrs.S., how are you doing.. -

It's okay with me, dear, that you ask... I'm still in the race to get pregnant
.. It just takes a long time.. I've also experienced a miscarriage myself. God, what a sorrow and sometimes still.. Also 2 ectopic pregnancies... So when I read that, I always become so sad... I think it's so bad for you guys, I hope it doesn't continue... For you... MJB... I hope you get good news soon on Monday, okay... -

That's so sweet of you. It really does sound awful!
You've already had 2, that's rough! Hopefully, you'll get a positive result soon! Are you being treated at the ZKH? Maybe I missed that... Sorry about that... I'm not going back to the ZKH until next Friday. So still in suspense. It's so kind of you to care so much. -

It's 3 miscarriages, one at 9 weeks and 2 days... and 2 at 3 weeks and 4 days...
I feel for you because I know how it feels, oh my goodness, it's next Friday already that feels like such a long time pffff..
But still, I hope you get good news

Oh wow, almost 9 weeks. Then you're already quite far along.
I was 8 weeks on Saturday, maybe a day or two less. Unfortunately, I don't have a say in the matter, but if it's going to go wrong, I'd rather it happen as soon as possible. This uncertainty is so awful. I'm sleeping poorly and have a lot of stomach pain. Hopefully, I can switch gears a bit when we're on vacation.
How long have you all been trying to get pregnant? I really hope it happens for you soon! -
MJB #29

Yes, sure, how are you and Mrs. S doing now?
This Friday, can you still bring MJB for an ultrasound? -

Hi MJB! (And Mem
),
We're on vacation right now, hence the slow reply
I still haven't had the miscarriage myself.. On the one hand, it's nice to be completely away together, but you're still subconsciously dealing with it; with every cramp and bathroom visit, you can't help but think about it. It's such a mixed feeling..
But do you know any more, MJB?
It really does seem bizarre to read
And I really, truly hope things work out better for you guys, thinking of you!
@Mem, what a sorrow.. I'm with you in spirit from here!!
Hopefully, you'll get some good news soon.
P.S.
This is our first baby too, yes

That's so sweet of you to reply from your holiday address, Mrs S. I think a slow response is totally fine—just take your time. For me, it took 14 days before my MA was born, and that really had an impact. It started with light bleeding, and I thought that was it. Boy, was I wrong.
The next day, it really came pouring out, so I hope you're in an environment where you can truly take some time for yourself. Big hugs, and feel free to ask me anything. It's lovely that you're following along; hopefully, it's good news indeed

How sweet that you're both so involved, Mem and Mrs. S. It's actually going okay. I still have mild pregnancy symptoms and luckily no bleeding or anything. But my emotions are all over the place. We really won't know until Friday where things stand. We're on holiday too. Lots of distraction, but yes, every trip to the toilet is nerve-wracking and every cramp too. With my son I had few pregnancy symptoms too, so that's not surprising.
@Mrs. S. Nice that you're on holiday too and can shift your thoughts a bit, but it sounds pretty draining too. You know it has to happen and you're basically waiting for it. Lots of strength when the time comes!
@Mem Just a personal question, no need to answer. I often read that people see the baby in a 'late' miscarriage. Was that the case for you too? How was that?
Lots of love and strength to you girls!
I'll message you on Friday. -

Honestly, I couldn't see or track it in the clots, etc. I really didn't see it.. It was so intense..
That I had to go back to the hospital because I was bleeding from 12 to 6.. And I was completely faint.. So yeah, I don't know.... In the end, I also got a D&C.. And spent a night in the hospital.. -
MJB #35
Wow. Intense mom. Really everything on and off. Did you manage to process it well? -
*
* #36
Well, I'm processing it okay, but sometimes the feeling still comes up that the baby was so old.. And then I feel upset that my body let me down so much
..
Tomorrow a good ultrasound please God
-
MJB #37
Today was the ultrasound. Unfortunately, very bad news. The baby hasn't grown any further and the heartbeat has stopped. I have to wait for a miscarriage now and come back next week to discuss whether I want/need medication for it. Tomorrow I would have been 9 weeks pregnant.
It wasn't meant to be and it's better this way, but I'm very sad.
It's sweet that you all cared so much! X -
