Maybe put a cigarette in your mouth without lighting it? Or play a game on your phone. Often you smoke out of habit or boredom without actually needing it.

For me, it helped to avoid all places where people smoke.
Even at work, I stayed on my department.
    That helped a lot.
And I imagined myself as the baby,
sitting in a small space, unable to escape the toxic substances.
I found it super selfish to think that my unborn child should suffer because of my stress.
Just because I happen to need a cigarette to cope with stress, should my child then have to suffer? All those thoughts made me stop.
Even though I only smoked two per day, I ended up quitting completely.

I really got the best tip ever for quitting smoking; a positive pregnancy test!! What tip could be better than that?

Before I got pregnant, I had already quit for 6 weeks, but in October during a concert, I smoked again. When I took a pregnancy test a week later and it was positive, I didn't touch a cigarette anymore. I find smokers really stink now and can't stand the smell either. I really don't understand how a pregnant woman can still feel like having a cigarette. Just stop.

You started quitting out of nowhere, so you can also stop out of nowhere. ;-)

I recently found out I'm 6 weeks pregnant and had been drinking and smoking before that. I stopped drinking alcohol right away! I'm now 8 weeks pregnant and have smoked up to 3 a day. From now on, I'm quitting. What's your experience?

I stopped when I was 4-5 weeks pregnant. Because every time I had one, I felt so bad towards the baby. But honestly, I'm now 10 weeks and I still don't miss Hey at all. I feel much better. I'm doing this for my child and it feels good.
