Oh, forgot to fill in the name, but that message is from me.

    Hi Cynthia,

    Thanks for your reply.

It's handy to keep track of it like this. I've also bought one of those starter kits (still think it's a weird name) from Sensi.
Tested again this morning, and indeed a faint line.
I'll keep testing once a day for now.
  3. Cynthia Guest #63

Yes, mine are also from Sensitest. I use the Ovulation Test Pro, which is a bit more sensitive. I'll test again today to see if it gets lighter again.
  4. Missy #64

Oh, and? Is it true that it gets lighter again after a day?
  5. Anonymous Guest #65

Yeah, look, it can still get lighter up there, but it's already getting lighter, so I did my jump at the second-to-last one from the bottom, and that was Saturday.

That was a message from me, I forgot my name again haha

    Hi ladies,

I was wondering how you're all doing? I'm really curious! ????

Hi Missy, I've been trying for 5 months now and still no luck. My cycles are super irregular: 51, 17, 34, and now 44 days, but still nothing to be seen. It's driving me crazy! I'm going to the gynecologist tomorrow, hopefully I'll get some more clarity there. And how about you?
  9. Cynthia Guest #69

Meanwhile here I'm 8 weeks pregnant..... I did use ovulation tests. And you, missy?
  10. Cutiex #70

    Hi there!
I can chat with you all. I stopped the pill in February and then had irregular periods. Since July 13, 2015, I haven't had a period anymore. I went to the doctor, had blood drawn, and the test was negative (unfortunately). But yeah, I'm out of ideas! Does anyone here have any tips or something?

    Hey,

I stopped the pill on May 1st, then got my first period on July 13th. After that, my periods stopped again, and my boyfriend suggested we take a test just in case. Sure enough, on 9/9 I got a positive test result, so I’ve actually been pregnant for about 2 months without knowing it. I thought I was still in the process of coming off the pill, but no

    Cheers, Dana

Cutiex, I'm sorry but I can't give you any advice. Don't drag it out too long. If it doesn't feel right, ask for a referral. My GP said it could take a year for your cycle to get back on track.

I don't have the patience for that.

Dana, congratulations on your pregnancy! What a nice surprise
  13. Cynthia Guest #73

Yes, Missy, I’ve already had an ultrasound and saw and heard a beautiful little heart. The next ultrasound is in two weeks.

    So nauseous... Comes in waves....
Otherwise, luckily very few complaints, and with my first pregnancy I hardly had any complaints either.
  15. Cutiex #75

Thanks, Missy! I'll wait until the end of October. If I still don't have any signs by then, I'll call my GP again.

    Hi girls!

I also have a question here.

I stopped the pill in August and got my period during the break week.

In September, I didn't get it anymore. I thought the hormones from the pill still needed to leave my body... But I was feeling a bit nauseous, urinating more often, and tired, yet I didn't think much of it. I took a test anyway and it was positive.

Since I was supposed to get my period again in October, I decided to wait until then to go to the doctor.
Now, in October, I still didn't get my period. I took another test and it was negative.
I feel less nauseous, but I'm still urinating often, feeling tired, have stomach pain, and sensitive nipples...

I think the hormones from the pill just need to leave my body and I'm imagining the symptoms.
    Because the test was negative.

How long did it take for the hormones to leave your body?
I don't think I'd be pregnant from the first time, since I've been on the pill for over 8 years and I'm 25 now.
I still haven't gotten my period.

Has anyone else had this: a positive test first and then a negative one?
  17. Missy #77

Ooh that sounds good, Cynthia ...
I hope it stays that way for you.

Good idea, Cutiex! Even if it's just for your own peace of mind. I happened to get my period after 6 months on Tuesday. So I'm really curious to see if my cycle is really getting back on track now.

I had those symptoms too, Marie. Nausea, lower back pain, stomach cramps, brown discharge, etc.
But I've never had a positive pregnancy test. I don't think you saw a positive pregnancy test because of "stopping the pill". Your body doesn't produce the hCG hormone if you're not pregnant.
So for me, it took 6 months before I got my period again. Now we'll just have to wait and see if it comes regularly too. Good luck with everything, girls!
  18. marie #78

I haven't had any brown discharge yet... It was a digital test & the first time it said yes & the other time no.
Each time I did a digital test.
  19. Missy #79

Have you already discussed it with a professional?

Hi, yes, everything was fine at the gynecologist. Uterus and cervix are OK, ovaries are a bit on the large side but I shouldn't worry! Nothing seen on the ultrasound, unfortunately, but I haven't had my period yet so I still have a little hope! I read that you can't see anything on an ultrasound before 5 weeks of pregnancy.. my cycle goes like this: 52, 34; 17 and now 54 so no blood = hope! Let's hope heheh
