Crazy how your gut just knows. I also had a feeling something wasn't right for a while, even though it was my first pregnancy.
Wishing you lots of strength and good luck in the future!

I unfortunately also have an empty gestational sac, I heard that yesterday at the second ultrasound. I'm 8 weeks and 3 days. We've chosen to wait and see, but I feel nothing and haven't had any bleeding or discolored discharge yet. I have a question for everyone: did you go to work as usual while waiting for the miscarriage, or did you stay home waiting it out? This was my third pregnancy; in April '16 I lost a girl at 22 weeks, and in August '16 I had an ECTopic pregnancy that ruptured and required removal of a fallopian tube. All three times I didn't feel like anything was wrong, and I find that so frustrating about myself. Like you can't listen to your body

Oh wow, that's so much! I wish you all so much strength! I had a miscarriage myself last weekend. Bleeding started on Friday evening, accompanied by severe menstrual cramps. I contacted my midwife, and I was told to wait and see. Saturday morning, I still had severe cramps and heavy bleeding. I contacted my midwife again, and they told me to wait and see again. Eventually, on Sunday evening, I lost the baby. The cramps had actually stopped right then. It's strange how it all played out.. I hadn't had an ultrasound yet, so I never knew how far along I was in my pregnancy because I have an irregular menstrual cycle. I also didn't receive any follow-up care or anything. Now I'm facing a big question mark again. Yesterday was my first day without bleeding. This morning, I suddenly got severe cramps in my lower abdomen again and lost a lot of blood. How is this possible? Should I report this somewhere? Or is that normal? Does anyone have this experience too?

On Monday, the day before my ultrasound, I had mild abdominal pain and dark discharge. I immediately went online to check if everything was okay. It said it was normal and could be old blood. I didn't worry about it further. On Tuesday, we had our first ultrasound to see the little one for the first time. Unfortunately, we soon received the bad news. The pregnancy had stopped developing at 6 weeks, and the heartbeat had never been detected! It was obviously a huge shock, and we were very sad. The midwife had made an appointment for me at the hospital for Friday. After the ultrasound, I already had very light bleeding and cramps. And yes, on Thursday evening, just one day before I was supposed to go to the hospital, I lost a lot of blood and clots. I really spent an hour on the toilet; 6 or 7 large clots came out. On Friday, we went to the hospital for a check-up. The gestational sac had already passed, but there was still some tissue left. They advised me to wait another week since the miscarriage process had already started. They also took a blood test to check for anemia. It's now Saturday, and I still have period-like abdominal pain and bleeding. Next Thursday, I have another appointment to see if everything is gone. This week has really broken us down, emotionally and physically! I think I'll feel better once it's all out. I wish everyone lots of strength. I've heard a lot about miscarriages, and my oldest sister has had one too. My other sister lost her baby at 7 months, which is obviously much worse. But I never expected it to happen to me, and I didn't realize how heavy it would feel. The first two days, I cried a lot! It's a bit better now, but when I'm alone and think about it again, I have to cry. I hope everything turns out okay! Lots of strength to everyone.

I know how you're feeling. Two weeks ago, a positive test... two ultrasounds later with a beating heart, and yesterday we heard that it's no longer alive, and now I'm having cramps and bleeding. It can happen so fast... my first baby. So much grief, and I'm wondering how long this will last... dear ladies, I wish you all strength!
