Bloem, Mensje and Zus

Those are the names of Angela Schijf's kids. What do you think of these names? Personally, I don't find them amazing, but I do think it's nice that she chose three names of the same type.

    I think Bloem and her sister are okay, but I just can't find anything for "mensje."

    I think Bloem is okay, but I don't really like the rest. Well, people probably think the same about Flore ^^

    Well, tastes differ. Otherwise, everyone would be called Jan and An.

    I don’t like it at all. The names can be used so easily in a sentence.
    I also remember a confused mom at the schoolyard who heard the dad say every day: “Are you coming along, little human?” The mom thought every day: “Doesn’t that child have a name?”

    Bloem is still going... (I wouldn't do that either, but whatever). The other two names... pity for the girls.

    Sorry, but I personally don’t find it that beautiful either. Not Sterre, not Vlinder, not Merel. Just go with Roosje! Hihi
    I love short names.

    I'm crazy about "trendy" names, but I don't find these 3 beautiful.
    Just like Gers Pardoel, who named his son Goud... terrible.

    Oh yes, terrible that he gave his son that name. How can you do that? If I were his son, I would definitely change my name as an adult. And I still think Bloem is the most normal of the three. Bloem is also a bit of a strange name, but better than Mensje and Zus. I find Mensje awful and ugly. You don't call your child "human," do you? I am a human and my name is Mens, that's a bit weird. And Zus is also so ridiculous. Next thing you know, someone will name their child "Brother." Anyway, that's what I think. Greetings, Madelijne.

    Yeah, tastes differ...
    I think Angela is a good actress and she seems like a nice girl, but her choice for these names... especially Mensje, I find it quite odd, but still better than Goud, Lux or Mercedes, I thought so.

    I don't like these names at all. Bloem is okay, but the other two, no. I wouldn't do it.

    My kids have names that are quite common but still normal. My three daughters are named Brechtje, Julia, and Samantha. I also like unique names, but not ones that aren't really names at all. With all respect to Angela, greetings, Liezelot

    I really don't find those names beautiful... also very thoughtless, you know...!!! Your child has to carry them for their whole life... pity.
