C-section or natural birth

Dear fellow expectant moms ;-)
Are there other ladies here who, after a first C-section, also want to have their second baby via C-section?
My first birth was such a nasty experience for me that I don't even need to think about it...
I'm curious how others feel about this ;-)
Regards, mom of Luna Sophie

Hi mamavanluna, I wouldn't say the birth was particularly pleasant, but I'd still choose a natural birth again. For me, that's just the natural conclusion of pregnancy, and I wouldn't want to miss it.

    Hi Mama of Luna,

My first birth was also a really unpleasant experience. I struggled along for ages and ended up with an emergency C-section. But I really want this pregnancy to end with a natural birth. I firmly believe that not every birth is the same. Plus, recovery from a natural birth is much faster and better for your body.

    Best, Nicole

Hi Mamavan Luna, I completely agree with you. My first birth was nothing like my second.

And I think a natural birth is still safer than a C-section, both for you and your baby.

Hi! I'm really curious—my water broke at 29 weeks, and luckily, my little girl is still in my belly. My doctor told me they'll do a C-section around 34 weeks because she's in breech. I'm wondering what's in store for me; it's my first baby.

I didn't find my first natural birth pleasant either, and it took forever, but now that I'm pregnant with my second after 6 years... I want to do it all over again.

My first birth of the twins (daughter passed away last year due to muscular dystrophy) went so well except for that shitty contraction storm! And I was too scared for the epidural! Entered the delivery room at 16:00, first baby born at 19:04 and the second at 19:16 breech.
Now pregnant again, luckily with #1! And the little guy keeps turning breech and then back again.. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant and want to turn him if he's breech. If he's head down, then not of course.
I'd really like a water birth this time in the same hospital, it's completely renovated with regular and bath suites
But if this little boy stays breech again, it could be a breech birth or C-section ahum.. but a C-section itself isn't bad, but I absolutely don't want to experience it consciously!! That cutting, pulling, pushing, I know it all, a bit traumatic after everything with our daughter and my ankle surgery. I find it awful how creepy all those people around you are, you're strapped down and I get scared and panicked pretty quickly, just let me take a nap and then as soon as I wake up I'll see our new baby! I don't look forward to it if the breech birth doesn't go well, I'm not waiting for an emergency C-section! So I've already made a birth plan for myself ;-)
