And? Did you take another test?

I had insemination today, so now it's two weeks of waiting

Sorry I've been really busy, my partner had surgery for a cyst. Luckily everything went well. I took another test yesterday and it was strongly positive. I'm also starting to get emotional and nauseous. Plus, I've got sharp pains in my breasts, so I think those are good signs. My first ultrasound is on June 30, so exciting! You still have 10 days to wait, how are you getting through the days? I really hope it worked out for you!

Wow, hope!!! Super!!! I do have to wait a bit longer, but I feel calmer... I also have plenty to do last few weeks at work before the summer holiday, trying to finish up a course, so plenty of distraction!

Enjoy your pregnancy and hopefully you won't get too many complaints!

Here's some bad news: I started spotting old blood today, so I've been a bit overwhelmed. I called the hospital right away because I expect to get my period tomorrow. I have an ultrasound appointment on Monday and another with my gynecologist on Friday. I just have a feeling something's not right. I had insemination on June 10th and already started spotting old blood on June 20th, so the embryo couldn't possibly have implanted properly...

    I'll keep you posted!

I really think it's so awful for you guys that it's just not working out! And it's also so frustrating that they can't find any reason for it! I really hope there's some clarity on the ultrasound on Monday. I completely understand that you'll break down if it fails again. I also had a bit of old and new bleeding last week and immediately thought it was a miscarriage. I had an ultrasound then, but they couldn't see much on it. Now on Friday I have another ultrasound, but I haven't had any bleeding anymore, so I hope everything is okay. Sending you lots of strength and keep me posted!

Hope; how exciting all this is for you! Hopefully, they'll be able to see more on the ultrasound on Friday.
I'll let you know tomorrow how it went at the hospital!

Had my final ultrasound today. It was a bit tense because there was still something on my left ovary, but it wasn't big enough to stop me from starting hormones. The dosage has been cranked up, so I'm now going to 112.5 instead of 75 Menopur. I'm curious to see if my mood gets even more cheerful.

Regarding my question about the short time between insemination and starting hormones, she couldn't say much of sense... except, yes, this does happen more often. So luckily I made an appointment with the gynecologist for Friday. I needed to anyway, because after 3 cycles of Menopur, I'll probably switch to other hormones.

I'll let you know once I've been on Friday! Do you also let me know how it went for you?

    Love,
    Maaike

That's great, congratulations! How far along are you now? I had my 10-week ultrasound on Wednesday and it was already moving, so cute! Wishing you all the best with it!

Hey, I'm 4 weeks pregnant tomorrow. That's so nice that everything is going so well for you!

Hey girls, big congrats to those who made it...
We've been trying naturally for 2 years without success, so we're now switching to IUI???? First appointment on the 21st for all the info, but anyway, I'm super curious.
