15 weeks pregnant and still vomiting

Hi Linda,

That sounds like heartburn. Maybe it’s a good idea to visit your GP, as it might not be related to the pregnancy at all. :-)

Best,
Patty

    Hi,

I was vomiting and had severe headaches until the 19th week. They told me it was the hormones.

    Good luck!

I'm now 14 weeks + 5 days and I don't really have any issues as long as I eat just one bread roll in the morning, then I'm fine. Otherwise, everything comes back up... And it's not like I immediately need to go to the bathroom, but first I just need to sit calmly for a bit.

I've read that ginger could really help with nausea. Ginger tea would be a good remedy, and there are even ginger lollipops for sale online, specifically for pregnant women.
No idea if it works... I just have a good appetite and am gaining more than is good for me... ;-)
    Good luck, girls!

    Hi!
I had the same thing.. really unpleasant but after 16 weeks it was over for me. Usually after 3 months the worst should be behind you!

Currently, I'm 30 weeks pregnant and still throwing up. I even spent 3 weeks in the hospital because of dehydration. I couldn't even keep my own saliva down anymore. That yellow substance is bile; it comes out when there's nothing left in your stomach.

    Hey Linda...
I share your grief... I still have to vomit daily and indeed only bile... I've only lost weight so far and the midwife keeps giving me a lecture that it's time to gain weight... Especially the thoughts about things I currently find disgusting (like fricandel and fries) make me nauseous... I don't know what I can do about it... I had hoped to be over it after 12 weeks but unfortunately not... Hope it gets better soon... All tips are welcome.

I've been vomiting a lot too. Because of that, I've been in the hospital twice due to dehydration. I'm still vomiting every morning, but if I eat afterwards, I'm fine. If I don't, I feel sick all day.

I also have medication for the nausea from my GP. It's emesafene, maybe you can ask your GP for this too. You can get it in tablet or suppository form. I'd recommend the suppository because it's absorbed much faster and works quicker.
    Stay strong!

I was really nauseous and vomiting until week 16, then it got better for me.

I had it until about 17 weeks.. I hoped it would stop at 12, but alas!! But now I've felt much better for 3 weeks!! So there's hope, girl

Linda, I just went through the exact same thing as you! I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant, but until my 21st week, I was hanging over the toilet every single day... no matter what time of day. I lost 7 kg during those 21 weeks. You only bring up that yellow substance (bile). It's really not pleasant at all. I didn't really find any remedies to help prevent it. My gynecologist advised me to eat a piece of toast before getting out of bed while still lying flat, but that didn't help me either.

    Hi everyone,
    I'm new here.

I'm currently 14 weeks and 6 days pregnant.
Tomorrow I'll be 15 weeks pregnant.

That means I'm in my third month now, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm no longer nauseous, but I do have some discomfort in my belly and back.

Some women do indeed have extreme morning sickness. I recommend going to your GP and asking for vitamin B suppositories. You insert these rectally (so you don’t throw them up again), and they’ll really help you feel much less nauseous. Get well soon!!!

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and not eating.
  15. Mandy #16

Low blood pressure maybe? Are you still eating small bites?
  16. marianne Guest #17

I'm 15 weeks now and still throwing up, unless I'm at work. But on weekends it's a drag... Luckily I'm not throwing up every day. Hope it gets better soon because I've had no appetite for dinner the entire pregnancy...

Yeah, I have it too. During my first pregnancy, I was vomiting for 16 weeks and lost 27 kilos, and now it's exactly the same with my second! It's driving me crazy; I can't keep anything down, everything comes back up... I started taking Primperan and it helped.

I'll be 15 weeks pregnant with my second baby next Saturday. I'm still throwing up every morning, but luckily it's only bile. If I lie down for longer, I usually don't have to vomit. Once I've vomited and then eat something, my day is good again. But if I haven't vomited, I feel nauseous all day. With my first baby, it was over by 12 weeks.

Hi everyone! I'm 9 weeks pregnant now and I'm constantly throwing up bile in the morning. It happens a lot, and if I eat something, I usually throw that up too. What can I do?
