What's in your hospital bag?
Maybe it would be nice to share in this thread so other expectant moms can get ideas for their own bags.

    Hi Iza,

Something for your partner to eat (sultanas/breakfast cookies, etc.)
Sweatpants and a regular pair of pants with 2 to 4 nice shirts for after the birth
Enough underwear and socks (last time I suffered terribly from cold feet)
A few basic makeup items...it's nice to look good in the photos after all :-D
    Camera and possibly a camcorder
    Magazines

    That's it all ;-)

Lip balm can also be useful, it's handy if you're constantly puffing

Dextro is also really handy when your sugar levels drop. I also put some music in there and slippers for showering in the hospital after giving birth. A tracksuit, deodorant, bathrobe, and a magazine for my partner so he has something to do if we end up waiting for a long time. And of course, enough clothes etc. for the little one :-)

I haven't heard anyone mention the Rh factor box yet! I got a box + form (mine was negative, by the way), but the midwife said they collect cord blood for testing to check if it's still really negative. Does anyone else have this in their kit?

    Love, Ju
