induction contractions?

Hi ladies,

I have a question. I'm 34 weeks pregnant tomorrow.
Over the past few weeks, I've already felt stabbing pains from below, aching ligaments, hard and painful contractions, and even had 2 irregular contractions last week that subsided after a warm shower.

And just now, next to the aching feeling in the ligaments, I had a pressing sensation in my lower abdomen.

Could this be related to the baby dropping?

These could definitely be Braxton Hicks contractions, and they'll go away on their own once your little one settles into the pelvis

I've noticed that my belly has dropped, so I indeed suspect that the little one has engaged or at least started to.

It sounds like the baby is indeed finding the right position. Those sharp pains on the side are often the round ligaments that are under quite a bit of strain from the weight. If they go away after resting or taking a shower, it's usually nothing to worry about. Just listen to your body and take it easy.
