Dani90, how are you doing? Hope you got good news?
  2. Dani90 #22

    Hi Ezkimo,

I also have a positive story. In 72 days, my levels rose from 226 to 596, so I think things are looking good.

I'm still being cautious but trying to get over it. I only had bleeding for 2 days, only in the morning and afternoon; it stopped in the evening, and the next day there was just a little pink smear when I peed.

My gynecologist said I don't need to worry if I don't have heavy bright red bleeding.

On Wednesday 1/8 I'm going for the ultrasound.

Right now I'm mainly dealing with heartburn, sore breasts (especially when I take my bra off and they get some freedom, haha).

My lower abdomen is sometimes tender but not painful, and I have a bit of back pain. And mainly I'm tired.

You're on the last few days, it's all so exciting. It just hasn't fully sunk in yet that a little human is starting to grow inside me.

Super good news, hooray!!!! Try to enjoy that little human in your belly now. It's and remains a wonder. Even at 35 weeks, it sometimes surprises me that I have a living creature in my belly. Good luck with your ultrasound!

    Hi everyone,
I found out on Monday that I'm pregnant, but I had my period on April 1st. Since I was undergoing insemination, I started taking Clomid 50mg on the third day. This morning, I had blood drawn, and it turns out my hCG levels aren't rising much, and I'm also losing dark blood. Should I be worried?

Had a TP on 04/29 with a top embryo. Day 21 after TP, my hCG value is 1760. Isn't that low?
  6. _inmyminiworld #26

    Hey ladies,

Here's an hCG of 5913 on 05/21. My last period was on 04/16, a pregnancy test on 05/14 that was positive, and a blood test on 05/21.
  7. proud_mommy #27

With my son, at 4 weeks I had an hCG level of 29, and at 4 weeks and 3 days it was 154. Now I'm pregnant again, and at 4 weeks and 5 days my hCG level is around 1270.
  8. Babytje4 #28

Oh my god, one day later, an hcg value of 160.
  9. Evita13 Guest #29

I had an hCG value above 200 at 4w1d (I was told over the phone, and the day before they had said they expected it to be between 50 and 100). So I was startled when I heard a 200+ number... I only remembered the 200
But she also said: it doesn't really matter what the exact number is, it just needs to rise nicely. I have to get my blood drawn again on Monday at 4w6d. Fingers crossed!
@Jessica: I also had brown discharge. That's not abnormal. It could be old implantation bleeding.

    Just a quick question:
Are the HCG levels calculated from conception or from the last menstrual period?
Because 4 weeks of pregnancy = 14 days of gestational age.
    How is this calculated now?

Hi hi! I’m joining in with a positive test too. This is going to be number 3, so it’s exciting!

Hi, I'm Lindsay and 'pregnant' with my 3rd baby..
Since Tuesday I've had light pink bleeding, yesterday a bit with brownish discharge.. today only when urinating.. It stays light pink, no bright red blood.
I should be 6 weeks and 6 days, went to the ER last night, the gynecologist there saw nothing on my ultrasound. Blood results weren't in yet, urine was, they could see from that that my hCG value was 880 and the gynecologist thought that was very low for the stage I should be at.
Naturally I assume this will be/is a miscarriage, I have no pregnancy symptoms, but for now I also don't have anything pointing to a miscarriage except the very light pink bleeding every now and then during the day..
Had sex with my partner on Monday evening.
    Anyone experienced something similar?
Would love to hear, thanks in advance!
    Love, Lindsay.

My hcg level is currently 1730. Does that mean conception happened about 5 or 6 weeks ago or later?
I'm not really understanding these values anymore, I keep finding different information everywhere..

    Hi everyone,

I found out I'm pregnant two days ago after a blood test. I know from myself that my ovulation was about a week later than expected.
The doctor told me that my hCG level was only 10... I need to have my blood drawn again next week.
Do you think I should be worried?
    Greetings
  15. Nijntje #35

How long are you pregnant? If you're still early on, I wouldn't worry too much
  16. Floor Guest #36

    Thanks for your reply, BabyNr3.

My last period started on January 29th, so I’d guess I’m about 4 weeks along, but I know my ovulation was around February 16th (I was tracking with ovulation tests). I think implantation happened on Tuesday, February 22nd, because I had a few light red drops on my toilet paper that day... Normally, I should have gotten my period last Saturday, February 26th. On Monday, February 28th, the doctor did a blood test, and my HCG level was 10. So I have no idea if I should be worried about that... I need to go back for another blood test next week.
  17. Nijntje #37

Seems a bit low for after Nod, but if you say you have a late ovulation, I wouldn't worry just yet. When is your next blood test?
  18. Floor Guest #38

The next blood test is next Monday.

I'm also having a lot of discomfort and pain in my lower abdomen, like cramps/strong period pain.
No idea if that's normal? :-(
  19. Nijntje #39

Could it be the growth of the uterus?
  20. Geheim Guest #40

    Hi there, quick question.
I got an email with the lab results.
HCG value 8. I don't understand if this is positive or negative?
I'm already a mom to a daughter. Last year, the test was positive and my blood was negative 2 days later, then my blood was positive.

I hope I don't have that same chaotic feeling now.
My GP has been on vacation for 2 weeks now, so I can't get a better explanation...
