Hi Light22,

What you went through, I had last month.

I suddenly started bleeding a week early - only for 2 days - and it was very light and pale.
So I immediately thought it was implantation bleeding, so my partner and I got cautiously happy. But a few days later I bled a little again, for two days again, then I started to doubt, because you can't have implantation bleeding twice (unless you're pregnant with twins, I read on Google.)

And sure enough: a few days later my period started. That dark brown is old blood and it often comes out when you're about to get your period.

How are you doing now? Did your period continue?

    Hey Evelien115,
Yeah, I really thought it was implantation.. it didn't look like a period at all. For me, it still hasn't come through exactly one week tomorrow. Did you have certain symptoms too? I still have some symptoms, and sometimes now a bloated feeling in my lower belly with pops in it (you know what I mean?)
But I don't know when I could test then, so I'll just wait until my period, which is around March 24th, so I'm curious if my period will show up then or if there will be a positive test.
Nice that you recognize this too! I don't understand any of it haha but I hope for you guys too, anyway, a positive test soon

And with 'I don't get it at all' I mean our weird situation with this. What you're telling me, I do get, haha. I was a bit unclear, I see now..

You probably mean April 24th. I think you were just having your period or had an early ovulation. If you have a regular 28-day cycle, you ovulate around day 14. And implantation happens about a week later. You can really only see how your cycle fits together after a few months. There are several sites, and I think this one too, where you can calculate your cycle.

Oh yeah, I’ve also had those weird brown spots sometimes. And sometimes just for 2 days. And a bit of red.

    Yes, I meant April 24th.
    Thanks for the explanation!

I hope you find it helpful. And you're welcome. Really try looking into a cycle calculator. And also, for example, write down when you had your period. Your first day of your cycle is the first day you had your period.

I do recognize some of your symptoms. Tired, headaches.
But for me it's always like this (and maybe for more women): when I have the feeling that I could be pregnant - every month;-) I also immediately feel all sorts of things that are also part of a pregnancy.

But your body can play tricks on you...
