No, we definitely shouldn't do that anymore, trying to attract someone like that. We feel happy and write to each other, phoesh, and we know ourselves what's good for us, right? We'll figure it all out.
Thanks, indeed, it would be nice, but we still need to plan and save, there's so much going on, you know! Such a wedding, hehe.
  3. sabje #63

hi sammie1987 indeed, do what we like to do ourselves, that's what everyone does for themselves and it's fun because you can chat with others,
what a pity that it happened suddenly for you, was it planned? or because of the pill?
thank you, we'll keep practicing hihi
we call that "klussen" here hihi, gr

Weddings are indeed a lot of work, and you can make them as expensive as you want. But it's always a costly affair. Still, so beautiful! So when the time comes, enjoy the preparations and the day itself to the fullest! That's what I did too.

Sabje, I had been faithfully taking the pill for 10 years already. I wasn't sick, so there was no reason why the pill wouldn't work. Turns out I'm incredibly fertile. I'm breastfeeding, and then the chance is high that you won't ovulate, but I did ovulate right after 6 weeks, so now I have an IUD. You don't plan kids, it's always a gift. She's the most beautiful thing that's ever happened to me.

Chertje85, if you haven't gotten your period by the end of the weekend, I'd get a blood test on Monday to know for sure.
  6. Poesh #66

Chertje, I'm in the same situation as you. Unfortunately, it can take a while for your cycle to get back on track. Some women have to wait up to 90 days. I certainly wouldn't wish that on anyone!

And indeed, the GP can check via your blood test where you are in your cycle. Personally, I'm not going to do that yet. I'm not someone who rushes to the doctor. I'm currently on day 35 without a positive test. I suddenly got severe lower abdominal cramps, so I hope my period is just about to start. But it could also be a false alarm, like I've had quite a bit this month.

I'll leave it to you to decide whether to go to the GP if you feel comfortable doing so. Just keep in mind that, unfortunately, you might not have ovulated yet and won't get your period right away—I'm in the same boat now. Unfortunately, that's all you can do...

The bleeding you had could also have been something else. I had a very small amount of bleeding on March 17-18 too, and I'm still testing negative..
So we'll see indeed I now have serious menstrual cramps again, so I expect my period today or tonight. If it doesn't come, I'll test again next week. If it's still not there, I'm considering going to my GP, hoping she can give me more certainty about my cycle.
If I get my period now, it'll be exactly the same cycle as before the pill. So I'd be okay with that since then I know my natural cycle is back on track. It's a pity it's long again, but that's just how it is!
Wishing you the best, and you can always share your thoughts here

My cycle was 27/28 days when I was still on the pill. I've been well past that now. And the tests keep coming up negative. .hihi we're just waiting relaxed. I have absolutely no symptoms for my period.. I also have a very clear feeling that I'm not going to get my period.. just a feeling.. can't explain it. Sunday morning I'll test again with the Kruidvat 2 for 5 euros. And again on Friday if it's negative and no period. So it's exciting again hihi.
  9. Poesh #69

It's normal for your cycle to be 28 days while you're on the pill
Do you have any idea what your cycle was like before you started the pill?
  10. chertje85 started this #70

For my pill?? I've been on the pill for over 10 years so I have no idea at all... I'm used to a 27/28 day cycle.
  11. Poesh #71

ok, it was just, if you remember and know that you had a longer cycle back then, I'd assume that now too
I didn't do this at first either, but after that test on Friday, I'm just going by my cycle for my pill, and so I should be getting my period today or tomorrow.. So we'll wait out the weekend and see what happens
  12. chertje85 started this #72

I have no idea how long it was back then, but anyway, not as long as it is now haha.. I'll just wait.. nothing next week except just testing and if not, I'll call HA,, and if not, we'll wait until the end of next month.. if I'm pregnant, that belly will grow on its own.. I already have a little belly now so it will grow on its own if I turn out to be pregnant.
  13. Poesh #73

then we'll just wait with two.. I think my breasts have gotten fuller, but maybe I'm misjudging them because I want them to be that way, since that could mean I'm pregnant my guy hasn't said anything about it yet..

    Hi ladies,

    How are you all doing??
Just a few days without Brabbels..
So far I still haven't gotten my period and I'm still symptom-free..
    I suspect I just missed a month..
But I'll get back to chores at the end of this week/weekend
    Fingers crossed for round 2.
    We'll see..

    I'll hear from you soon.
  15. Poesh #75

No sign of contractions here either, so I'm still waiting.
We don't neglect the DIY stuff, though we've basically never really stopped.. Except for that week when I was extremely tired..
Other than that, it's the same here. All weekend I felt like contractions were coming, but they didn't.. And I also have this bloated feeling in my lower belly.. So, we'll see
  16. chertje85 started this #76

haha we also don't skip the chores.. but I was really tired so it was a bit less and he's sitting a lot with his back..
I'm curious how the 2nd round will be.. it would be really great if we were pregnant at the same time hihi.. but also very exciting for you..

I had incredible stabbing pains in my stomach yesterday. but otherwise no discomfort..
I'll just keep telling myself that I skipped a month..
  17. Poesh #77

It could just as well be a 60-day cycle or 90... So, umm, is that skipping or just a long cycle? I don't know, waiting is the only thing we can do..
  18. Poesh #78

    Chertje,

if you've just ovulated, this is your first cycle after stopping the pill. I think you just have a really long first cycle and are still in round 1...

Here are my ughs, but I have a long cycle of 40 days...
  19. Chertje85 Guest #79

Haha no, I mean that according to the app and the calculation for a 28-day cycle (which I probably just skipped), ovulation should have happened one of the past days. So I'm curious. I can't calculate anything right now because I haven't been tested for LH. So I'm not as focused on it as I was in the first round. Hahaha
  20. Poesh #80

Ok, I think you have a better chance if you keep having sex every 2-3 days ;-) precisely because you can't calculate anything ;-)
I'm planning to do the same now. Because those 40 weeks can be shorter or longer.. And in this way, you have the best chance of hitting your ovulation when you can't calculate it.
