Hi ladies,

I have a quick question.
I've stopped the pill and we're in the first round.
My NOD is on the 26th.
I've had severe fatigue, more frequent urination, mild headaches, hot flashes, some cramps very low in my belly, and lower back pain for a few days. Sometimes I also feel a bit nauseous. I (like many ladies) have no patience waiting until I can do the early test. Are there any ladies here who recognize these symptoms and are pregnant? I've been googling but I'm not quite sure.

Best, Tamara

    Hi!
That's so nice that you're trying to get pregnant. I was extremely tired, had sore breasts, and every day felt like my period was about to start. Oh, and my test wasn't positive until 9 weeks, so don't always trust the first test.

    Good luck!

Yes, she's 24.5 weeks now Born 3 weeks early due to pregnancy-induced hypertension.

I took 3 tests, even the doctor said I wasn't pregnant.. but I was anyway

Oh yeah, I also couldn't go to the toilet properly anymore. Sometimes it took half an hour...

I was just taking the pill, I wasn't trying for a pregnancy but I kind of knew from the very beginning. If you want to be sure, you can get a blood test. The doctor told me then that it wasn't necessary because modern tests are so reliable ;-)

    ahhh.. it's really a sweetie,

3 tests and the doctor says no?? wow
I did an early test yesterday.. but unfortunately.. this morning I did another early test but that was also negative..
well, I'll wait until Tuesday/Wednesday to do the Kruidvat test.. that should be my due day..

    crossed fingers!!

I stopped the pill at the end of February, and my expected period is March 30th. I have exactly the same symptoms as you. On top of that, I've had sore breasts since yesterday.
I'm reading a lot of different things, but I'm keeping in mind that it's probably just from my upcoming period/coming off the pill, so it shouldn't be too bad.

I don't have any issues with my breasts at all..
I'm also just keeping in mind that it's about stopping the pill..
I've been on the pill for over 10 years, including 5 years of the injection pill in between.
I'll be cheering for you, blacksunday..
    It's all quite exciting..

Nice to meet ladies who are experiencing the same thing.

Well, what I've learned is that symptoms really are different for everyone. Some people have a lot of discomfort, others have none at all. The only thing that applies to everyone is to wait, wait, wait...

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

    good luck!!

really..I'm going crazy from it and this is only my first round..I hope I survive if I'm not pregnant after several rounds..I'm already going crazy if there are more than 3 people in line for me at the checkout..hahaha

also because you really want it, but don't let yourself get worked up. a false pregnancy can also happen in the first 3 months. I'm now 6 months without the pill, no issues anywhere, but still waiting to see next week. strength.

If I had gotten pregnant, I would’ve had sore breasts and felt a bit nauseous a few days before. But I didn’t have any of that when I found out I was pregnant. Now I do have nausea in waves. I’m 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my second baby. With my first, I got pregnant within 3 months, and with this one it took 8 months. I tested on my expected period date (my cycle is 24 days) and got a faint positive with the Kruidvat test, which costs around 7 euros. But the Kruidvat 2-for-5 euros test was super clear, and it’s very sensitive. I’ve heard other girls say they got positive results early with those 5-euro tests. The Clearblue Digital with indicator can also detect pregnancy from 4 days before your expected period, but I thought it was too expensive. I used it later so I’d really believe it, hehe.

Good luck with getting pregnant. And try to be patient. I wouldn’t test earlier than your expected period, because it’s a waste of money. Speaking from experience. I know it’s hard to be patient.

    Hi ladies,

I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant.
I noticed bright red blood this morning.
While my period isn't due until Tuesday/Wednesday.
Do you have any idea if I'm just getting my period early?
  12. sanjo #13

It could also be that you suddenly have a shorter cycle. I used to always have a 28-day cycle, and for the last 4 months it was 24 days. But I also know women who lost bright blood a few days before their period but were pregnant anyway. There's really no way to say for sure. But it would be nice if you were pregnant.

Maybe a silly question, but what is NOD? :$ x

    Has the bleeding stopped?
  15. Anonymous Guest #16

Lost just a little bit of blood. It's totally not like my period. I've been at home since midday and haven't lost any more since then. So I'll wait and see tomorrow. My temperature this morning was 37.3, so it's still higher than normal. Everything feels very vague. I don't know if my period was early or if I just lost some blood.

Oops, forgot to add my name.
  17. sanjo #18

It could also be implantation bleeding. That usually happens a few days before your period. I didn’t have that during either of my pregnancies. Just a little pink discharge.
So it’s still quite nerve-wracking. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. All you can do now is wait.
  18. Chertje85 Guest #19

Implantation bleeding? I thought that wasn't bright red blood. I've also lost very little, and it doesn't feel like my period at all. But yeah, wait until Wednesday to test, then it'll be time. So nervous haha

Nod? That's the day of your period but it doesn't want to become one because you're hoping to be pregnant. Not a period day (nod) then.
