haha we're definitely in the same boat..

I'm usually really cold..
At work too. Scarf on, warm sweater on.. (because the window always has to be open since my colleagues are warm) and I've already been feeling warm for a few days and keep asking if I can open the window.
At home too.. normally the heating is set pretty high but now it's been off for a few days.. haha
Yeah, weird, weird and weird again. -

Tested negative this morning. On day 34... -

pfff what a bummer.. but as long as there's no infection it can still turn out positive. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your baby. Still nothing with me either.. day 30.

Exciting, girls. I'm cheering for you. -

Oh, congratulations haha.. then it should work out next month.. I'm cheering for you with all my heart..
my mother-in-law already asked my boyfriend just now if I was pregnant.. she knows I should get my period this week hihi.. he pretended his nose was bleeding haha.. I really hope I get a positive test by Sunday because I really want to tell his grandparents. They're both over 90 and my boyfriend is their favorite grandchild.. and they love me so much. So it would be amazing if they could still experience their great-grandchild.
Also, I've had a lovely busy Easter weekend..
came home yesterday and got a little gift from my boyfriend.
got a pajama set for our little one hihi
he thought it was so cute so I took it along already haha -

I don't know who you are, anonymous,
but your response doesn't come across as nice.
Of course, we keep in mind that something could go wrong, but we're still going to stay positive for now. What does it matter if we already have some baby stuff at home, for me? The baby room is also fully equipped, and we have the stroller too.
That saves us money when the time comes. If it doesn't work out, we can always sell it again.
And yes, this is a friendly community, and we support each other even when things get tough. Every woman's body works differently.
So, Jo, welcome to the club, but don't be anonymous. -

Sorry to say it, but I really only bought some things after the first ultrasound. But yeah, things can still go wrong. But you could always give away the baby clothes. I only ordered a baby room after the 20-week ultrasound. If you get it, it's something different. Then it won't cost you anything. But well, everyone has to decide for themselves. I'm still rooting for you guys. -

Oh, I'm not that anonymous person. -

I completely agree with you, Sabje.
I'm also already looking at stuff like a Maxi-Cosi, which is so handy. I can even get a free stroller, something like that I'm definitely not turning down because this is my chance!
And indeed, if it doesn't work out, we can always keep looking.

Anonymous: I’m happy and I know that I’m fertile and I know that my boyfriend is too... and that we choose to buy baby clothes even though I might not be pregnant yet and so don’t have kids yet is our choice. I already have a lot of baby clothes, booties, socks, a crib and stuff... I buy this because it’s on sale... A baby room and stroller and stuff is already expensive enough. I’ll only buy those when I’m sure because I have quite expensive tastes and something like that isn’t easy to sell. So it’s best to start shopping early... and I can easily give away clothes. But still it’s our own choice. So my request and think that of the other ladies too to keep such things better for yourself.
And yes I keep in the back of my head that it might all go wrong..
but I’m just starting with the first round.. I’m already happy that my body feels relatively okay.
P.S. ladies tomorrow morning I’m going to do a test again. 4th day late. Keep your fingers crossed that I can start tomorrow with good news hihi. -

@chertje. What you said about clothes and stuff, I mean the same: you can always give it away. And yeah, about a room, I’d wait at first too, but as I said, if you get something or can buy it really cheap, I’d buy it too. When I was just pregnant with my daughter, the first thing I bought was bibs and little slippers. I thought they were so cute. I bought a little something every month so you don’t have to buy everything at once. Sounds weird maybe, but a pregnancy can also go wrong. I had 3 miscarriages. One at 10 weeks, one at 8 weeks, and an early miscarriage. But I also know someone whose baby passed away at 39 weeks pregnant. And then you need to have everything ready. So yeah, I’d just say if you want to buy something, just do it. Everyone makes their own choice.
And I’m still rooting for you. I have my first ultrasound next Thursday. How long does waiting feel! -

I'm cheering for you, sweetheart! Hopefully, you'll get a positive test soon.
And don't let those anonymous people get to you; apparently, that person has already been banned from the forum. That person also made a rather unpleasant comment to me in another thread (I think the comment directed at you is 10 times worse), and the moderator posted a message stating that the person has been banned... Since there was quite a bit of reaction to it.
And congratulations to Sabje on your wedding!
Enjoy it! It's such a beautiful day, one that passes by way too quickly.. -

Those are the facts I mentioned, nothing more, nothing less. If you can't handle that... and for the lady who wrote on the other forum, I wasn't, but people have the right to tell the truth and no one has to keep it to themselves. -

@anoniem, if you had read this forum properly, you would know that we are certainly aware that things could go wrong at the wrong time. We are enjoying the feeling we have right now. And the opinion you posted was not appropriate for this topic. I kindly ask you to stop responding in this topic and let us enjoy our feelings (for as long as this may last). -

Let's enjoy ourselves while it lasts, anonymously.
As for the rest, I'll join chertje85! -

Everyone should do what feels right for them. Even if someone buys all the clothes for the next 5 years... I don't have any issues with it, so just keep buying! It also helps the economy a bit ;-)
I like reading about how you all experience the journey to becoming pregnant... as I said before, I was suddenly unexpectedly pregnant. Still, I knew from day 1, maybe it was intuition.
I hope it happens quickly for you and keep enjoying the practice ;-) -

Hey hey, just wanted to quickly reply to you chertje85 . On the app you don't see the full message, so I'm back on the computer. Thanks! I'm really hoping it works out after 7 months, but I guess you shouldn't think about it too much.
It's funny that your in-laws are already involved. My in-laws know we're trying, but my own parents don't know yet—they're a bit overprotective. They say we shouldn't obsess over every little detail, but I don't mind because you never know how long it'll take, so whatever.
I'm sure you'll get a positive test soon, I'll be cheering for you!
And if not, think of it as a false alarm since you haven't been trying for that long anyway!
It would be amazing if your grandparents could still experience it at 90 years old.
It's lovely that you also have nice things to look forward to during the Easter holidays, good distraction!
And that's exactly it—you come across such nice little things now and then. I also love the socks from Zeeman or Exion with "I love papa and mama" on them; I have those too, hihi. Well, we'll see how it goes.
Here it's quiet. Was busy this afternoon with the kids at work, and now it's the weekend again. -

Exactly Emmy19, I've already received my crib and dresser, and I'm hoping for rompers too. Then they come along saying, "Oh, you're busy, I still have some stuff." And I found a stroller cheaply on Marktplaats for less than 50 euros, so that's nice too.
We'll see how long it takes.
Good luck to you too, girl!
