Connection
Hi ladies,
I'm 5 weeks pregnant and alone. I'd love to connect with people who are also pregnant (at an older age).

By the way, besides having sensitive breasts, I'm not experiencing any other discomfort!

    Hi connection,
I'm 36 years old and pregnant with my third. How old are you, and is this your first? It's nice that you don't have any issues at all.

    Hey mama3,
Nice that you replied! I'm 41 and pregnant with my first. I had an early miscarriage before this. I think it's a gift!

    Hi connection,
I'm 38 and pregnant with my fourth.
You're not alone in being pregnant around this age.
If you want to share something or tell us, we're all nice ladies here, or if you want to share something privately, that's okay too.

Nice that you're not having any issues.

    Love, Tammi

    Hey,
Thanks for your replies. Hmm, 60, with an egg from someone else (or frozen? Anything’s possible nowadays!) I’ll keep my opinions to myself, but if your body can’t handle it anymore, I guess you’ll just have to accept it. But yeah, people think 41 is already too old anyway.

No, I’m not single by choice, but I am a single parent. What we initially planned to do together, I’m now doing on my own in the end.

    Hi!

I'm 41 and 6 weeks pregnant today. Unfortunately, I also have light bleeding today, which makes me lose a bit of confidence. I had a miscarriage at exactly 6 weeks in August, so it's extra nerve-wracking... I hope to still be able to chat here for another 32 weeks or so, and it would be nice to keep running into you here. Who knows! I'm in an exciting long-distance relationship.... Greetings and hang in there!

@Connection... You're not alone, there are several ladies here who have kids at a later age.

I myself am 37 and pregnant with my 1st baby... and it's more than welcome
But I completely understand that you feel alone as a single parent, but even then
it will grow up and receive love, that's also important.!

I'm also alone now after a relationship of 11 months, and that's sometimes quite tough,
especially this period, but I can vent here and find support, just like you.!
Good luck & strength with your pregnancy, enjoy it.!!!

@Pioenroos, hope everything turns out fine for you, I also had bleeding
in the beginning but it turned out to be nothing serious.! So keep hope...

@pioenroos we're quite far apart and quite old! And indeed, just stay positive, right. And well... Intriguing late relationship... hmm
But I'd love to hear how you're doing!

@rewana how far along are you? Looks far away Lovely. And indeed, the most important thing is love and I have plenty to give. It's nice that you feel supported here. You too, good luck with your pregnancy, we'll keep each other updated.

    Hello ladies!
Unfortunately, my bleeding continues and I fear I may have to leave this forum again. I have an appointment at the hospital on Tuesday for an ultrasound. This pregnancy, however short it may be, is taking a toll on me. Given my age and oncological history, it’s actually a miracle that I got pregnant twice in 4 months. I’m not giving up hope yet, but I’m seriously considering the possibility that a baby might not be meant to be part of my life. It hurts so much because there’s so much warmth and love inside me... It just might not be different...

Hey Pioenroos, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything turns out okay. The fact that you've been pregnant twice in a few months says a lot about your fertility, at least. Don't lose hope and go for what you desire. But first, let's see what happens on Tuesday. Lots of strength then!

@Pioenroos, don't lose hope! You never know what the future holds.

For me, this pregnancy is also a gift. I longed for it and waited for it for years, and now I see that in just one year, I've experienced a (good) relationship, a miscarriage, and a pregnancy in less than 3 months. So just keep hoping, and who knows.

I wish you lots of strength, and let us know how it turns out.

    @Connection, I'm now 20 weeks pregnant...

    @Connection,
I'm 39 myself and just gave birth 3 weeks ago to a healthy son..Miquel.
And I'm definitely open to having a nice chat and such...
btw I was always alone before and had 2 sons before that...
7 years alone and now together for 6 years already..

    Kind regards Ju

Oh dear, and worrying about suddenly losing blood clots (very small amount (still)) too, of course.. Has anyone else experienced this and gotten over it or is it the end of the story?
    I am quite worried.
  14. pioenroos #15

Hi Connection, that must be so scary for you. Unfortunately, in my case, it meant the beginning of the end on two occasions. But, as you've probably read, some bleeding can be normal. I went to the hospital and my fears were unfortunately confirmed. I hope things will go differently for you. I'll be rooting for you.....

I lost bright red blood at 7 weeks, and I was really anxious. Luckily, it only lasted for one day and then stopped. At 8 weeks, I had my first appointment at the hospital. Luckily, my pregnancy was completely fine. The heartbeat was good, and the baby was growing well.
However, there were 2 gestational sacs and only 1 baby... The bleeding was probably related to the loss of a second pregnancy. I was shocked by this, but according to the gynecologist, this happens more often in women whose pregnancy starts as a multiple pregnancy, and that in the very early stages, one embryo is naturally broken down by the body. So there was nothing to worry about.

Strength, I hope the bleeding doesn't continue...

    Love, Sandra

Called the midwife today. She wasn't very hopeful, unfortunately. What would you do? I want to wait a bit longer. But if it doesn't happen this weekend, I really don't want to wait until my first appointment with the obstetrician on Jan 2 for clarity, and I'd actually like to go to the hospital on Monday. Well, I've decided to call the hospital tomorrow to make an appointment.
@Pioenroos. It's my second time too.

I'm a bit sad about it....

    Lucky, Monday to the hospital.

    Strength,
    Has the bleeding continued?

How are you doing, connection? I really hope your little one is holding on tight... Keep me updated??
