Who gave birth in a maternity hotel and stayed there during their postpartum period? How did you find it, and would you do it again?

I stayed in a maternity hotel in Purmerend. I found it really nice. You could always ring the bell and someone would be at your side within seconds. If you want, your partner can also sleep with you, but then you pay a little extra. With our second child, we just want to give birth at home, because we want our son to get used to the idea that there's a baby around, and not that we only come home again after 5 days. But of course, everyone has their own opinion on this
I definitely recommend giving birth there! Even if there are complications, you're in the hospital (the Waterland Hospital, Purmerend)... -

We just wanted to, but then we got medical. It had seemed calmer, and because we’ve been medical once before, we have to do it again now.
