A year later, still not pregnant

Hi ladies,

I have 2 beautiful kids and have been trying for a third for almost a year now, but it just isn't working out. Unfortunately, I had a 2nd miscarriage last year and since then it just hasn't happened. It's probably also due to my age since I'm 39.

I'm now under the care of my gynecologist, and she said I should come back after 1 year. In July 2019, it will have been 1 year that we've been trying.

What questions can I ask, and what treatment will come next (who has experience with this)?

Waiting a year for your due date (not meant offensively) feels like a long time to me. I’d suggest staying in touch in the meantime, e.g., having your husband get tested in advance. That’s a small effort, I think.

    Emmy, thanks for your reply.
We tested everything back then. And since I already have kids, my gynecologist said there's nothing else to worry about.
    I'll make another appointment soon.

Can't that change too? Should I ask to rule it out?
