    I had blood drawn today for the NIPT test. It takes 5 to 10 working days. I'm still a bit nervous about the results, but I'm going to assume the best. But a friend of mine is 3 weeks further along than I am; she was told at her 12-week scan that her nuchal fold measurement was borderline. So she did the NIPT test too, and the first one failed (not enough baby DNA in the blood). So she had to have her blood drawn again, and now she's been waiting another 1.5 weeks. For her, I think it's much worse... But anyway, as I said, we all have to assume the best; most babies are just healthy ????

    Yeah, I'm trying to do that too It's going much better already. Didn't want to scare you at all!
    So they do the nuchal translucency scan at 12 weeks? I had my 12-week ultrasound at 11 weeks, hopefully they can check then too for me. Seems really tough to be in that situation. I wish her the best! Then hopefully the NIPT will come back negative, or is that also a bad sign, finding too little DNA?

    No, that's not a bad sign, I think it just happens sometimes.
    But anyway... I actually don't know if they checked my nuchal fold yesterday..
    I assume they did, but I didn't hear anything.
    Well, I'll just wait for the amniocentesis.
