Was there a reason it took a bit longer for you guys? Or nothing? Yes, I'm definitely going to stay positive and keep thinking that way... so I've had 13 miscarriages over 3 days. So can I guess and try an ovulation test on May 23rd? I've had unprotected sex 4 times since I got the coil out last Friday... By the way, are you fertile right away after getting the Mirena coil out, or does it take some time to kick in?
They said my husband's sperm count was a bit low. We were also too focused on it. I had a lot of stress because of it, haha.
Indeed, start testing from day 23 until it's darker than the control line. And you're immediately fertile. So it's quite possible you're pregnant this month.
Glad you got to experience your first miracle after all! How old is your husband, if I may ask? I’ll start testing from the 23rd. Would you mind keeping me updated here? I’m really, really curious. At least now I understand. I’ve used Google to calculate ovulation on different sites, but each site gave different results, so I don’t find that very reliable at all. Do you have experience with good ovulation tests? So far I’ve been using the ones from Action, which cost €2.50 for 5 pieces, so I thought that was super cheap.
Hi there. I'll just write down my experience. I also had an IUD and, just like you, had a little bit of bleeding for 3 days. I wasn't really sure what to do with it, so I decided to wait until my first period, but it didn't come (I wanted to wait 2-3 months). So I started using ovulation tests, and when I thought I had a clear positive, we went for it haha. It turned out it wasn't a clear positive after all. That one came 2 weeks later, when I wanted to do a pregnancy test. It was negative. No idea why, but then I decided to do another ovulation test, and that one was really a clear positive. I had my IUD removed in mid-July and had my real ovulation on August 31st (I remember it so well because it was the day after my boyfriend's birthday). So I had a cycle of about 43 days. But it was a hit right away. Next Monday we're going to meet our girl via a C-section.
