Weird question

Hi ladies, weird question. In the past, when I had sex with my husband, I’d always rush to the toilet right after because I tend to get UTIs pretty quickly. But now we’re trying for a baby, and I’ve heard that you should wait about 10 minutes. Is that true? And what about keeping your legs in the air—does that help? (I have no idea how long it takes for sperm to reach where they need to go, haha)

Thanks!

I also had to rush to the bathroom all the time, but then I really did lie down for 10 to 15 minutes with a pillow under my bottom. Otherwise, try 5 minutes.

That's true, but a bladder infection is far from ideal. So I'd just go to the toilet if you can, and then lie back down for a bit.

That doesn't happen that quickly, so you can best lie there for a few minutes before going to the toilet. After that, wash well down there. You can also lay out a washcloth and clean down there after sex if you're still lying down. From top to bottom. Good luck!
