Hey Molly,
What good news! So it wasn't a miscarriage after all, like the doctor said? Or did I misunderstand and it was actually a loss? I can imagine this is super stressful!! Cheering for you that everything is okay! That would be absolutely amazing! Good luck with the ultrasound! Let me know how it went!
Everything's good with me too! Had an ultrasound with the midwife today and everything is fine! Thank goodness... I'm glad when the 12 weeks are over, might bring a bit more peace! Less chance of a loss then too! Still feeling a bit nauseous, but it's getting better! Though I've got a lot of headaches and I'M THE PROBLEM! ha ha...

Lynn! Yeah, I really have no idea if it's good news or not! At least there hasn't been a miscarriage yet and the symptoms are back! So I'm finding it really exciting. Maybe I'm hoping too much!
It's so nice that your ultrasound was good again! Exciting, right, those first 12 weeks. Haha, luckily I haven't had any issues with myself yet! -

hey girl,
WOWWWW!!! What fantastic news! I'm sooooo happy for you!
What did they say and what's their explanation for why you heard last time that it wasn't good? How far along are you now and when is your due date?
Can we now happily babble together... ha ha...

Thank you all! I'm really enjoying it! And I don't want to think anymore about how suspenseful it remains until 12 weeks. We've had our weeks now.
Daphne, it's a bit complicated but I thought during the previous ultrasound that I was already further along in pregnancy. But I don't really have regular cycles and they're usually long, so I knew a lot. But because it was so small on the ultrasound, and I did have some bleeding, the chance was very high that it would become a miscarriage. But today I'm 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant, so it's logical that it was so small 2 weeks ago! -

Hi Molly,
I’m just reading your messages for the first time today and wanted to reply.
What super good news! Congratulations
How lucky that you followed your gut feeling and didn’t just take that pill!
Try to enjoy your pregnancy a bit, you’ve been stressed for way too long already!
Best, An -

Hi Molly,
That was such an incredibly nasty situation! I found myself in a very similar situation last week! On Monday I also had some pink bleeding, called the midwife, who didn't tell me much other than 'you have to wait and see, because if it's a miscarriage, there's nothing you can do anyway'. Not what I wanted to hear, and I was sooooo scared that something would go wrong!
Fortunately, the bleeding (which was really very little and heavily diluted) didn't last long (1 day, a little bit spread out throughout the day). But still... Luckily, I had an appointment with my gynecologist on Wednesday, and she immediately reassured me by doing an ultrasound. The heartbeat is there! Everything was great! I understand that a midwife can't rule things out, but a little reassurance would be nice, right? It's all pretty tense anyway.
But still! You also got good news! Congratulations! What a relief that is, huh!! Enjoy it and try to let go of your anxiety a little

Hi IJsregen, wow that’s wild! I mean, they should at least give you a little reassurance. I have to say the second midwife I called, and who I’m now seeing as well, was really sweet. She immediately arranged an ultrasound for me and stuff. But it’s all so nerve-wracking.
Good to hear your bleeding stopped so quickly. But don’t be alarmed if it comes back. I’m still experiencing it. I have bleeding for a few days, then none for a few days. But I’m not as freaked out anymore, and as long as I see it’s old blood or really just a little bit, I don’t stress about it so much. I’ve seen that our little one is growing just fine, so it’s probably just part of my pregnancy or something.
