Lower back pain, will this be contractions?!

Hi ladies,
Last night when I was in bed and wanted to go to sleep, I had this pain in my lower back while I was just lying on my side. Could this be contractions? I'm now 36+5 weeks pregnant.

I’ve also had that really low back pain lately. My midwife said it’s normal to have this, and as long as it goes away with heat it’s just back pain. It’s also persistent for me. As long as this doesn’t happen, and most importantly, if it’s low back pain that COMES and GOES, you should ALWAYS inform your midwife before your 37th week of pregnancy. It could indeed be related to an approaching labor. I got such a card from my midwife with situations where you should always call, super handy! -
