When does an early miscarriage happen after a negative pregnancy test?

I had 5 positive tests on March 20th and 21st. On March 22nd, a negative test. Does anyone know how long it takes before an early miscarriage can happen? When does the bleeding start?

I'd get blood drawn at the HA, then you'll always get clarity.

It doesn't mean at all that it's a miscarriage, and if you don't want to go through your GP, I'd say use a Clear Blue test. They're usually pretty accurate and show how many weeks pregnant you'd be.

My GPs don't want to just do a blood test.
They'll probably say: wait and see.

Clear Blue and Kruidvat 2w5d are the same tests that react to the hCG hormone, but my line is gone, so why test with a Clear Blue when it needs even more hCG?

I’d definitely not do an expensive test if the cheap one is already positive. You should probably contact your GP or midwife (maybe after testing again), I think so. It doesn’t always start on its own. I’ve also heard that it can sometimes take a few weeks. Good luck/you’ve got this!

Hi Heart, when is the best time to test?

Testing with your first morning urine tomorrow? It's been a few days already, so it should be positive by now. Haven't you tested in between? In the best-case scenario, the negative test was due to diluted urine, so tomorrow's concentrated first morning urine might show a different result. I hope so for you!

I'll test tomorrow morning. Just to see.

Just did a light test, the urine wasn't concentrated but there was at least a faint line visible to the naked eye... I'll test again tomorrow morning with the first urine.

That's so hard to put into words. I had a bleed at first, and the tests stayed positive for a while. So I don't have experience with negative tests without bleeding.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Clautjuh.
14 weeks, I read with a beautiful ultrasound, how are you feeling?
  11. Moedertjuh #12

Yeah, so now and then some little ailments, but overall it's going well. On Wednesday is the gender determination. Exciting again.

That's so lovely, Clautjuh, that you had the gender determination on Wednesday and that everything is going well!

@ Tested here. Both tests negative. After the indicated 5 minutes, it doesn't count anymore.
I'm going to wait until April 5th, which would actually be my due date, and I'm curious if I'll start bleeding.
