Vaginal birth after two cesarean sections

Hi, are there any ladies who had a vaginal birth after their second C-section? I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby and would really like to have a vaginal birth after 2 C-sections, but my gynecologist is also advising me to have a C-section for the 3rd time.

    According to my midwife, that's allowed nowadays. But I think this has only recently become possible. Three years ago, I was told that after two C-sections, I could never have a vaginal birth again. And now suddenly this surprise????
