    I was super heavy for three days and now it's just spotting, so I think I'll start using ovulation tests at the end of this week

    My partner and I are now trying to get pregnant for the 3rd month. I just can’t figure out which days I’m most fertile. I thought I had an idea, but now I’m not sure at all.
    How do you all do it?

    Was only on my period for 5 days, until yesterday, so I got busy again last night and from today on I'll be using ovulation tests. I'm also keeping an eye on my discharge and BBT, so I'm really curious
    How are you doing, girl?

    @Jacky, ovulation tests are the easiest.. How long is your cycle? Usually you're most fertile 14 days before your period starts.

    I tried ovulation tests, but they’re always positive for me with no difference in the clarity of the lines.
    My first cycle was 33 days and the second was 28 days, with 5 days of menstruation each time.

    It’s so touching that your ovulation tests are always positive.. I’ve never heard of that before except for women who were pregnant.
    But I think your most fertile days, assuming a 28-day cycle, are between day 10 and day 16 of your cycle, with ovulation around day 14. That’s the most common, but it can always vary.
    What also helps is keeping an eye on your BMM (cervix) and your discharge.
    If your BMM is high and open, you’re most fertile.
    If your discharge is sticky and the color of raw eggs, you’re also fertile.

    Thanks for the tip.
    I also find it quite strange. I’ve already called my GP, but they said that ovulation hasn’t been fully examined or proven. But if you get your period every month, you must have ovulated. So I’m assuming that’s the case now...
    Are you already paying attention to your diet?

    Okay, apart...

    I try to be careful about what I eat and drink, except when I'm on my period, because then I'm definitely not pregnant anyway. Outside of that, I don't drink alcohol and I don't eat anything that a pregnant woman shouldn't, just in case..

    Yeah, it's really weird.

    I don't drink anything either, except when I'm on my period.
    Anyway, I find it a bit tricky figuring out what you can and can't eat when you're pregnant. One person says you can, and another says you can't...

    By the way, it's nice that you're not pregnant for very long either, just like me.

    @Jacky; that's weird about the tests, sweetheart. I haven't heard of that before. If you use certain brands, they always show a faint line that gradually gets darker and then pops when you're fertile. Do you use them every day? And how is your discharge around the middle of your cycle?

    Hey Merel,
    Things are good, my period only lasted 5 days so I was busy with chores again yesterday and the day before.
    Also started with ovulation tests and yesterday I had a very faint line, so hoping it gets darker.. According to the app my ovulation is on the 15th so I'm curious But it's not working out because on the 15th I'm getting a new tattoo so after that you definitely don't think about doing chores xD
    How are you and your girl doing?

    Yeah, it's really weird about those tests. I used them every day at around the same time. And different brands.
    I never really paid much attention to my discharge because I always have quite a lot. I have the feeling that it's a bit whiter and thicker around my ovulation. Does that make sense?

    Thanks for the list, I can really use it.
    Nice that you're getting a new tattoo. I get that you're not thinking about DIY projects right now, but this could also be good because if you do go ahead with some projects, you won't be too focused on them and won't have much stress about it.

    Hey Merel,
    I'm getting my right upper arm done. A dreamcatcher on the outside and two pocket watches on the inside, but obviously I can't do it all in one go, so first the dreamcatcher. My left arm is also fully covered on the outside, and that took 3 hours, so after 3 hours of tattooing, believe me, you're completely exhausted xD Then I just want to sleep
    I don't have any piercings, but currently I have 5 tattoos and I'm not done yet
    Yup, we're still having sex every day

    That's true, but I have to say that while I was working on the house, I wasn't really thinking about it either... Before I stopped the pill, we were already having sex daily, so nothing changed in that regard

    It’s nice that you already had daily sex before stopping the pill, so you don’t really have to worry about that anymore. Do you have any tips for staying motivated every day? Haha, I really have to remind myself that we should do it every other day. Not that I don’t feel like it at all, but it could definitely happen more naturally, you know? Haha

    Tips are hard, I have to say that for us it's just extreme sexual attraction xD
    But once you start, even if you're not in the mood at first, I always end up wanting it..
    Just lie naked on the bed or something and move a bit sexy, then you can see him getting aroused and that turns me on again..
    Tips on this are hard.. Some people just have more sex drive than others..
    For example, take a shower together and soap each other up.. Then you get aroused so then have sex! XD

    As long as you don't have sex under the shower, all the sperm will wash away, hehe!
