    What negatives did you have about the Es spiral? I would take that too if we didn't want kids! I find it super nice that I have fewer hormones and my guy does too; who doesn't want a woman who's more in the mood and gets wetter? Hihi, so funny that you guys have that too!

    Enjoy Es while you can enjoy your guy and have some space without the kids! How do you actually do that when the kids are around and you want to put your legs up for a bit?
    We're now just trying to have sex every other day until it's successful or I get my period. Does anyone know how long that takes if you, say, give? I want to keep giving until she's a bit older and can eat bites, but we also want a little brother or sister soon and then it would probably be better to stop! It's tricky though, for example is so special!

    I didn't know about the coil, that it causes an abortion rather than preventing pregnancy. So I won't go for that either. I feel the same way about abortion as you do.

    Things are going okay with me.
    Still dealing with withdrawal symptoms. And I have no idea when my egg will come. I don't want to use ovulation tests in the first round because I don't really know my cycle. But when I check my cervix, it's been high for a few days and today it's so high I can barely reach it. It's also been open for a few days, so I think these are my fertile days.
    Besides that, I get sudden waves of nausea, sharp pains in my belly, and I'm incredibly tired... But that's probably just the withdrawal. I'm only on day 16 of my cycle, so it can't be pregnancy symptoms yet xD.
    Still doing chores (multiple times) every day, so I don't think I'll miss my egg. xD

    Hihi, so we're all a bit wild and noisy, I read!! Poor neighbors! It's quite an adjustment having our little girl around, sometimes I hear her suddenly while we're having sex and I can't really concentrate! How do you handle that, Es? Do they never suddenly start moving when you're busy and how do you make sure they don't hear? My friend was caught by her 6-year-old son a while ago who decided he had slept badly around midnight but (wonderfully) without crying loudly, he crept into her room. Still quite painful, it was still summer so no blankets and they did it "from behind" according to her... neeeeeeeee!! That's your biggest nightmare!!

    Angela, crazy your bmm on day 16! How is your discharge now?

    Oh, that sounds like a real nightmare... absolutely terrifying if your child walks in like that.

    I've never really paid much attention to my discharge, since I don't know what it could tell me—maybe you guys do? My discharge today, I just quickly checked xD, it's thick, a bit like raw eggs, stretchy, and BMM is still incredibly high.

    Thick like raw egg whites and stretchy, I always have around ovulation. You can make threads between your fingers with it? Where are you in your cycle again? I'd advise you to note it somewhere and keep track of it daily, then you'll discover how your vagina is throughout your cycle!

    Haha I’ve never heard the neighbors complain about noise. Apparently we’re pretty well insulated here, phew, lucky us.

    Yuck, that sounds really embarrassing to me if you’re sitting there like that when your kid walks in. I’ve never experienced that, my kids sleep all over the place. But if they’re sick and really sleeping poorly, we don’t have sex. Haha, probably too tired anyway from taking care of the little ones.

    I did once experience my boyfriend still naked in bed the next morning and our little girl wanted to come lie down with us (she’s 5). So I quickly made up an excuse that she first needed to go to the toilet, so my boyfriend could quickly put on some underwear haha.

    But Angela, that sounds like you might be fertile now. Is this your first round? Wow, that would be nice if it’s successful!

    I just did a first ovulation test. I’m going to do this now from the start and thus started in time. Last Wednesday I got my period, my cycles have always been 36 days. In the past few days I only tested on my fertile days (according to calculation), but didn’t pick up anything. So my egg either came earlier or later. I don’t want to miss it now, so let’s go: start in time.

    And I’m also going to check my discharge this month. I still don’t quite understand checking the mucus... what should I feel for and what to pay attention to?

    From what I've looked up, if your cervix is high and open, that means you're fertile. If you feel with your finger, your cervix feels soft like lips and you can clearly feel an opening. After your fertile period, it becomes firmer, like the tip of your nose, and drops lower, meaning you're no longer fertile (or that's when your ovulation was). That's how I learned it

    And what do the ovulation tests say, Esje? Do you already see lines?

    You tested last night, completely white, no line in sight. Oh, the douche felt: bmm high, soft, and seemed closed.
    Exactly at 8 pm for the 2nd test!!!

    Discharge is btw watery...

    Hi ladies. I stopped the pill in January 2016 and have been trying to get pregnant since May 2017. Unfortunately, no positive test yet. The last 2 months I was late by a week every time.

    Hi ladies, I'm on my second round now. Had ovulation a few days ago, hopefully, so now I'm back on the waiting bench.
    I've been on the pill for over 9 years, so I don't expect it to happen right away, but you always hope, of course.
    I also notice that I think about it a lot and all the time.
