twin pregnancy

Are there any other women here with a twin pregnancy or who already have twins? I'm due in December with twins and unfortunately haven't found any experiences to read. I'm just curious how others have experienced it and stuff.

Congratulations! I can't really join in the conversation, unfortunately. I don't even know if I'm pregnant, let alone having twins, hihihi

Do twins run in your family? It's really nice though, two little wonders. Enjoy it!

    Love ^.^

No, that doesn't happen at all on either side!

    Hi Flamingo,
    Congratulations!!
I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant with twins. Can they already tell if it's one or two eggs? Probably it's two eggs since they're in separate amniotic sacs and have separate placentas. It's quite special to have twins, isn't it? I have to be honest, it's already quite intense for me. The first few months were really tough. And now I notice that the twins are asking a lot from my body due to deficiencies I have. How long are you pregnant?

I'm 8.5 weeks pregnant now. I've known since last Wednesday that there will be two. Next Friday we have our first appointment with the gynecologist, and they'll check whether it's one or two embryos.

At first it felt very unreal that there were two, but now I'm starting to really realize it.

Fortunately, I haven't had any extreme symptoms so far, except that I'm very tired and try to take a nap for about an hour every afternoon.

    Hi,
I'm now 24 weeks pregnant with twins! I've got plenty of experience under my belt, so feel free to ask me anything!

Pffffff, a few busy days behind me... Friday had an appointment with the gynecologist. Everything was good, saw and heard two beating hearts. Exactly 9 weeks.
Told the parents yesterday. Mom was overjoyed, but Dad didn't react at all...

    Hi Flamingo,
That's great that everything was fine at the gynecologist! But it's a shame that the good news didn't sit well with your dad... Is he not happy about it?
Do you also have this kind of swelling with this weather? I feel really bloated, seriously!

My dad is a bit of an odd character sometimes and I can't make heads or tails of it. No idea what he really thinks...
Trying to stay as calm as possible with this. I normally don't handle the sun well anyway, and now I'm completely drained. Just keep drinking lots of fluids.

Had an ultrasound yesterday, 6.5 weeks, looks like there are 2. I have no symptoms at all except getting out of breath quickly, but I feel really fit

Oh, how exciting Nikkie26, how do you feel about this result?
You already have an appointment with the gynecologist.
    Good luck!

If it's really true, I think that's amazing, but I'm already happy if things go well now after two miscarriages
I don't have any discomfort except that I notice my belly is working and it's already quite big. What about you?

    Hi ladies!
I'm 12 weeks pregnant with twins myself (first pregnancy). Also due in December. Pretty exciting, huh? I'm also really tired and get out of breath quickly.
On Friday I'll (finally) have the next ultrasound and find out if everything is still okay with our two little ones.
    Best wishes

    Nice sarah! Congratulations!
I also get out of breath quickly, but I thought if you had twins you'd have a lot of symptoms... I had two miscarriages before this, so that makes you feel insecure. Tomorrow I'll be 7 weeks... you already have certainty, I see... 12 weeks already, nice

Then we're almost at the same stage, Sarah! I'm currently at 11+4. I still have to wait 1.5 weeks for my next check-up.
Does it run in your family? Not at all in mine. Do you already know if it's one or two eggs, Sarah?
I really need to sleep for 2 hours in the afternoon; if I don't, I'll be done for by evening.

Hi! My boyfriend has two aunts who are twins. Otherwise, it doesn't happen in the family I hope to find out on Friday whether it's identical or fraternal... I'm also getting super tired quickly. An afternoon nap feels great, but that's not always possible on a regular workday. Then I come home exhausted and recharge a bit in the early evening Hope things improve soon.
    Greetings!

I'm leaving this group. I won't be having twins anyway, haha. Still just as happy though Had a good ultrasound, almost 8 weeks. Enjoy your pregnancies! @

I'm also leaving this forum. Just had my 12-week ultrasound and both heartbeats are gone. I wish you all lots of success and joy with your pregnancies. Enjoy it. I truly hope everything goes well for you!

Oohhhh no way, that's terrible! You finally reach 12 weeks and then it goes wrong... huge lots of strength... what a pity

Oh, that's such sad news. Sending you lots of strength!
