indeed, very exciting!!
I didn't have to cough? But I found that needle really quite nasty. After that, I really needed some time to recover.
They have three with cell division, so tomorrow I'm getting the transfer back. I find it really quite exciting.
How are you doing, Liesje? -

Good luck with the TP!! Exciting weeks ahead for you, Ellie! I'm rooting for you! -

Had the transfer last Saturday. Such a weird idea. But I have to say I don't want to get too happy about it yet. Afraid of being disappointed...
I can test on June 30th.
Really curious! And really hoping it works out this way.
How are things with you guys? -

How are you feeling, Ellie? I totally get why you want to protect yourself from disappointment. You’ve been at this for a while now and have already had quite a few disappointments, so you don’t want to get too positive too soon. I totally get that. I hope you get a nice result on the 30th and can just relax and enjoy yourself. That would give me good hope too, because I think it was the same cause for both of us, right?
Is Liesje recovering a bit? Good luck tomorrow with the gynecologist. Hopefully you’ll be back on track soon!
Nothing much here. We’ve started injecting again for the IUI. Ultrasound on Friday. I hope to do the IUI next week, and then we’ll find out if my husband’s sperm is still good enough for IUI or if we’ll need to go for ICSI. -

It's been quiet here, but I've started the pill. In July, I'll start with injections. I'm now injecting 200 Gronal F, hoping for more eggs and that they'll grow more evenly.
I need to come back on August 3rd for the first ultrasound.
Exciting, right? Those waiting weeks after the transfer. Strength and hope for a positive result on Friday. -

Exciting, Liesje, for you too. Waiting feels so long, doesn't it? Absolutely terrible.
I still assume it didn't work out. Partly because the other 2 eggs weren't enough to be frozen. So I have the feeling this one won't be strong enough either.. just a gut feeling..
C81, I'm feeling fine! Actually, I don't have any real discomfort.. I've already had the feeling for 4 days that I should get my period, but so far no red devils yet..
A few more days, and then we'll know more.. I hope it works out terribly!! Also indeed nice to know that there is hope for you too.. -

@ellie have you been able to test yet? I really hope for a positive result for you.
@c81 how are you doing? Did you have the IUI? How was the quality this time?
Best, Lisette -

Hi lovely ladies! Ellie, did you manage to test already? I'm so curious!!
Liesje, how are you doing? Recovering a bit?
We also got the news that we're continuing with IVF/ICSI. The score was really devastatingly low this time. I'm currently in the waiting weeks. If I get my period on July 9th, I'll also have to start the pill. So then the process starts here too. On July 13th I'll get to hear the injection schedule. I find it all quite scary, honestly. -

I tested this morning!!!
Did 2 tests with Clearblue!
One says pregnant 1-2 weeks
The other says pregnant!!
I still can't believe it!! I have to go back this afternoon for the definitive test.
I tested yesterday too, negative. So it just proves again that you really have to wait until the actual test day.
Hopefully this gives you all a little bit of hope that it is indeed possible..
c81, super exciting!! At the beginning they told me; you've probably never really conceived before so you have a good chance.. with IUI you've never even gotten that far. Keep that in mind too.
Liesje; I also wish you lots of luck. Hopefully you'll also have the news on August 3rd that your follicles are growing well and evenly.
Will you keep me posted? -

Ellie, super congratulations!! What great news! Enjoy it!
Well, I do have 2 kids from a previous marriage and had 4 miscarriages before that. With the treatment at the beginning of the month, there was probably fertilization... But they were too late for the IUI and I had 2 eggs. So I did it myself. I thought I was experiencing side effects from the Ovitrelle shots I had taken for nothing. I had very sore and swollen breasts after a week. The tests stayed faintly positive for a while but then I got my period. Probably didn't implant properly. -

I really hope for you, c81, that it turns positive for you soon too. Especially after all the effort, energy, and love you've put into it. I hope that with IVF/ICSI you can finally make your dream come true. Then it will all be more than worth it, and don't give up hope. I'm really rooting for you! -

Wow Ellie, super that you're pregnant!! Congratulations, hope everything keeps going well and you can enjoy it. -

Thank you, sweetheart
.....
Liesje, I'll probably start the pill in about a week. I'm curious how many they'll set me up with. I already had 2 mature follicles on day 10 with 50 ie, and they even ruptured. Seems fast, right? How many did you get the first time? -
L
liesje193 #54
C81, I got 150 the first time, which I think is pretty standard for IVF.
With that, I had 8 follicles the first time, with an egg found in 5 of them, and only 2 were mature. I think they're hoping for 10-15 follicles. -
C81 #55
Thank you for your answer, sweetie xx. I hope more eggs are maturing now. Have you already started with the injections? -

I had 125 the first time, and that was too much... Last time it was 100. And actually quite low (5 eggs, 3 of which underwent cell division, 1 was transferred and the other 2 weren't strong enough for the freezer). But so far, so good, and I'm pregnant. They really look at how much per person. -

The previous post was mine, ladies.

Okay, now I'm curious what they're going to set me up with. How are you feeling otherwise, Ellie? -

Actually, it’s really good, and I don’t have any issues anywhere. A bit more tired, and a belly that’s really swollen. And even a few pairs of pants that are already feeling pretty tight. And a slightly smaller appetite. But otherwise not many 'complaints'. Next week is the first ultrasound. And I’m really curious. So nervous.
When are you officially starting?
I really hope this process goes well for you guys. Really rooting for you!! -
C81 #60
Glad to hear the symptoms are manageable, Ellie! Enjoy it!
Well, I'm taking my 5th pill tomorrow. I have an appointment on Thursday, so then I'll know when I can start the injections. I don't know exactly yet. Can I ask which hospital you're under care at? We're in Tilburg.
