    Wow, exciting ladies!!
@beertjenicky I haven't bought any ovulation tests yet. Good idea to maybe order some, but I want to see some regularity in my cycles first.. Keep an eye on your mucus, but I don't think it's really "rounds" time yet.
Because I had that coil and didn't have a period for 2.5 years, I'll just have to wait and see what my cycle does. No idea how long mine is, so..
Good luck to everyone with waiting and testing. I wouldn't test too early either. It's a waste of the tests and testing too early can also give a false negative, right?

It's so hard to be patient. Took a test this morning, unfortunately negative. We'll wait and see.

So sad, Patty... I really debated testing last night... Didn't do it...
    I really don't know...
According to ovulation, I should be getting my period now... But yeah, was that really my ovulation day?
I did ovulation tests and on Thursday around lunchtime there was a faint line and in the evening a darker line...

So yeah... We'll wait and see...

Good luck to everyone with being patient.

Bummer... got my period today. Looks like it's actually a 31-day cycle!
  5. Lana Guest #65

    That's a bummer!

    Ah, Patty Balen...
    I don't know anymore....
Nothing yet. Yesterday was day 28 based on a 28-day cycle. I had that for the first 6 periods this year. After that, it became 32/31/33 days... So I don't know what to expect now either...
My peak for ovulation was Aug 16... Usually, it's 12-16 days later regarding menstruation...
And the 16th day was yesterday... If there's no period tomorrow, we'll test. I want to test already... But I've made plans with Martijn for tomorrow....

    Sorry Patty....
  8. Patty #68

I know how hard it is to wait, but I tested yesterday too and regretted it afterward. If I had waited until today, I wouldn't have had to test. So hang in there...
In the meantime, I'm trying not to get too upset. It's annoying because when you both decide to try for a baby, you want it right away. There are pregnant women everywhere and my Facebook is full of newborn babies. Maja, we haven't been trying for that long, so maybe I'm expecting too much. That's what I think, that's what I hope.

This is only the second round... But hey, every beginning is exciting... I'll probably lose a bit of steam if it drags on...
    I'm still waiting.

Thursday was my expected period, but it's the first one since I stopped using Nuvaring on July 31st, so I didn't know my natural cycle exactly. I got my period today. A bit disappointing, but I kind of expected it. I'm really happy that I already have a fairly short cycle after 16 years of non-stop contraception. On to the next round!!

    @Patty and Indy,
Sorry girls, maybe next month hopefully soon pregnant for both of you..

    Love Ju
  12. Indy #72

Thanks Ju, we're going for it again! Well, just a few more days to wait!

    @Indy,

You can go ahead and mess with the BMS again, hihihi, and this time make sure you hit the mark! ;-) hihihi

    Love, Ju

Hey Indy, sorry to hear that, but enjoy the nice weather while you're at it! It's exciting again...
I've done two tests now and I'm pregnant!
  15. Indy #75

bettyjicky, that's great!!! Congratulations! Enjoy it!
  16. Patty #76

Beertjenicky, congratulations, how lovely! Enjoy your pregnancy! How long did it take you?
  17. D. #77

Hi everyone. I've also just stopped the pill and we're trying for our first baby. We're hoping it'll happen as soon as possible, but I've heard on the forums that it can take up to a year for some people! I have an irregular cycle myself, which makes it harder to figure out exactly when ovulation happens. So I've started using ovulation tests and now I'm testing. Is it worth tracking my temperature as well as using the ovulation tests?
  18. D. #78

Congratulations BeertjeNicky! How wonderful that you're already pregnant for the second time!!
  19. Sarah #79

    Hi girls,
wow, heartfelt congratulations to those of you who are already pregnant!! Super!
For the rest of you girls, lots of luck too. I’m cheering you all on.

I’m Sarah. I just turned 22. I’ve been with my boyfriend for over 5 years now and we’ve been living together for 2 years. Since the beginning of this year, I’ve had the urge to start trying and we’ve decided to stop taking the pill since Saturday, after my period. Amazing! I’m super excited. And I’m so happy that I’m not the only one going through this!

Even though I really want to become a mom, the idea that there will hopefully be a little human growing inside me soon seems like a really strange idea to me, and I find it a bit scary too! Especially because I have no idea what it all entails..
Has anyone else experienced this or felt this way?

    Love,
    Sarah
