@Indy that's indeed a relief and also nice to get a reply. I'll definitely keep you posted!
@Lana yes, I think you're right, it all seems so obvious until you start diving into it! By the way, I've been taking folic acid for a while now, but there are also vitamin pills for during and after pregnancy, which also contain folic acid. -

Hi there,
Welcome, new girls.
Are you also taking Omnibionta Pronatal? I always forget to take them, I just bought a new box, it’s quite expensive at 20 euros.
So far, no other ailments. How about you?
Best,
L. -

Gravitamon has everything you need! It's even recommended by midwives... @Lana, the standard cycle is 28 days.... Around the time you think you're feeling "wetter" halfway through, that's when ovulation could happen. That's the cervical mucus, if I'm not mistaken....
Usually, you get your period 2 weeks after ovulation....
But yeah, those are the basics....
I use an app on my iPad called WomanLog. You can keep track of everything on the calendar, so you have comparison material each month...
Good luck! -

Hi Nicky,
Omnobionta was recommended by my gynecologist, but I don’t know about the one you take.
Once you’re pregnant, it’s a different kind anyway.
That app sounds lovely, I’d heard about it too. First, I’ll have to get an iPhone though.
Good luck,

Lola, an iPad or maybe a tablet could have that app too... Maybe an Android phone as well. -

It took us 17 months, and now I'm 10 weeks pregnant

It took 17 months for us, and now I'm 10 weeks pregnant
My sister has been trying for 5 years now and still not pregnant
That's how it is, it can happen quickly or take a long time. I hope you get pregnant soon

Patty, do you know any more yet??? -
Mummie #50
Hi Shana, congratulations!
That's quite a long time. It seems even less likely to me that I'd be pregnant after just 2 months. What symptoms are you experiencing?
Best,

Hi Indy,
I made a mistake with my EDD. Normally I’d be due on the last Saturday, but last month I was 3 days overdue. So I’m now assuming it’s today.
That’s also what the calendar on this site says.
In the meantime, I’ve been feeling like my period is about to start for days now.
But so far, nothing has shown up... I’ll wait a bit longer and otherwise, I’ll do a test. I’m just wondering whether I’ll do it tomorrow or wait until the weekend. So impatient, right? And how are you doing?

I use WomanLog on my iPad. It's a calendar where you can keep track of everything... They also show your fertile days... Often quite standard though...
Here's someone else who might get her period on Thursday... Based on ovulation, that could be it.
We'll see. I don't want to test too early... Tried it last time and got my period the next day.... -

You could also use abbreviations for yourself, like nod, not period days, ovulation... Then you can use your planner. Or buy a cheap planner just for this...
I'll let you know. I have a topic "2nd attempt Beertjenicky"... I'll post there...
You too, good luck -

@beertjenicky thanks for the tip. Coincidentally, I had coffee last week with one of my best friends. She indeed mentioned the same thing about getting wetter, but she also said your mucus changes, and you can test that yourself with your fingers. I did a quick search and found that clear, stretchy discharge means you're (very) fertile at that moment.
Since I don't know when my ovulation is, I'm assuming a 28-day cycle and trying to pay attention to my mucus and wetness. Anyway, my partner and I already had sex every other day or every two days as a standard, which seems ideal according to many sites, because having sex every day might reduce the number of viable sperm cells. So for now, we're not changing much about our sex life. I have to say, though, I was looking at those calendars, and if you stick to a 28-day cycle, I should ovulate between now and a few days from now. -

Hi Indy, I indeed meant the ovulation calendar. I don't know if you can save it. I put a circle in my calendar, counted 3 months ahead. But nothing matches anymore, because last time I was 3 days late. Now I'm a bit confused. Yesterday was my expected period, or maybe my cycle changed from 28 to 31 days. I'll wait until the weekend to test.
My sister-in-law is now pregnant with her third. With all three, she felt nothing at all.
Even more so, she was happy to have an ultrasound to be sure the baby was there.
So not everyone hangs over the toilet or has other painful symptoms.
It seems nice to me to get through pregnancy so easily. And I hear different stories, for some it takes months, even years before they get pregnant. Others stop the pill and get pregnant right away. How often do you hear that a girl forgot the pill and then (often unwanted and too young) gets pregnant. So the possibility is there. Only now it's a matter of staying calm and not panicking if it takes a bit longer.

@beertjenicky, of course, simple solution, done!
@patty, I can't imagine that you wouldn't notice such a big change in your body at all. But it's true, there are women who have no problems at all, and it sounds lovely to be pregnant like that. But still... I don't assume anything, and if I really don't get my period, I'll take a test. -

Lana, then keep a close eye on your mucus these days. You could also try using ovulation tests, for example. They show when you're ovulating...
I bought quite a few via Sensitest. About 25 dipsticks, so you can get by with them for a while...
Good luck! -

Hi girls,
I still haven't gotten my period yet. I thought Saturday was my expected date, but then I realized I'd made a mistake and filled in the calendar on this site incorrectly; it was actually Tuesday that was my expected date. Last month I was 3 days late, and I was so used to getting my period on Saturday with the pill that I just assumed it would be the same this time. So I got that wrong.
Now I run to the bathroom every time I feel 'something', and I'd really like to keep checking all day, but that obviously doesn't work.
Now I'm wondering when I should take the pregnancy test... Because if my cycle got messed up and became 31 days instead of 28, I could still get my period tomorrow. Do you guys still understand me, or am I overthinking this too much?
I'm quite scared of a negative test and somehow feel it would be a pity too, since they're quite expensive. I tested too early last month, and I want to avoid that now.
Well, hopefully there are more girls in the same boat.
Love, Patty -

Frustrating, right. My period is due tomorrow... But since a few cycles, I've had a longer cycle than before... So I'll only test on Sunday if it's not here tomorrow.
