Hi,
Since last Thursday I've noticed that my underwear has been getting wetter and wetter. On Friday I called the midwife, and she said it was probably just discharge. I don't think so—the midwife said amniotic fluid comes out in spurts, not just a little bit at a time. Now it's Monday and it's still leaking little by little. I just caught some, and it's whitish and clear with bits in it. It also smells weird. It kind of smells like semen. Can discharge smell like that?

If you're in doubt, just bring it to the midwife—they can check whether it's urine or amniotic fluid. And don't let them brush you off without having her check it properly. Without a proper check, she can never be sure.!!
