3 days overdue! Pregnant or not?

Hello dear future moms,

I'm already 3 days overdue, which I've never had before. I'm actually feeling okay. It was supposed to happen this Saturday, but nothing came. Only one pink drop in the evening and one pink drop on Sunday morning. Then absolutely nothing after that. So I'm already 3 days overdue, even though I'm always right on time.

When should I test? The baby is so desired, that's really true. Who am I kidding, it's all just talk.

    Hi Iris, thanks for your reply. I took a test but it was negative, unfortunately. I’m going to try another one tomorrow morning. I’ve read that many women get a negative result if they don’t use first-morning urine, so that could be the reason. So I’ll take another test tomorrow morning and let you know!

    Hey, Iris! I forgot to mention I took another test, and it was very faint positive! I'm going to take another one tomorrow morning, and if it's positive, I'll wait until Friday—that'll be a week late!

    Thanks so much, Ireske! Yes, I'm really curious, and we haven't even been that focused on it this month! So it comes as a surprise (:

    I still haven't seen a single drop of blood; I'm already on day three. I'm wondering if I should test early tomorrow because I really don't want a negative result. That's why my boyfriend says we should wait until Friday. But can I really wait? He wants me to give it to him as a surprise, and I've already bought the test. But now I'm thinking, what if I test early and it's positive? Then I can't keep it to myself, but somehow I also want to wait. If I wait, he says that's better.

    What should I do?

    Yeah, no, what I'm thinking of doing is testing again tomorrow, and then I'll grab a few cheaper pregnancy tests from Action because honestly, I can't wait either, so I think I'm just going to do a pregnancy test.

    Are you pregnant or trying to get pregnant?

    Wow, that's exciting! If we get pregnant, this would be our fourth round, so it'd be pretty quick! So I hope this one turns out nice too, because maybe we'll be right on track hahaha

    Quick question! I had some "spotting" (it was brownish) about 2 weeks ago. I'm now 10 days late, but I got a negative test last week. I have no experience with this, so I'm asking for your advice! Could I still be pregnant? Would you take another test, or wait a bit longer?

    Hey lovekids, it's nice that you want to chat and share. I know from experience with others that it can sometimes take a long time before you get a positive test. Some people only get a positive test at 5 or 6 weeks pregnant, so in your case, 1 or 2 weeks after your period. I'm now 4 days late and had the same thing as you. I have a cycle of 16 days, very short but very regular. This Saturday it should have been, and it felt like it too. I had cramps, pain, and all my symptoms, but nothing came! Only in the evening, a very tiny bit of pinkish-brown, 1 drop, so I thought okay, it's going to continue. The next morning, absolutely nothing, and then for the whole day, 1 very light pink drop of blood.

    So I've been counting 4 days of nothing because I'm always on time and bleed for at least 7 to 9 days.

    So I understand you. I would throw a test at it too, which I did. Mine is now very lightly positive! But I see a second line.

    Hey love, kids are sad, but you can still be pregnant, girl! You never know. I'm already 5 days late. I'm not going to test yet; I've already done 2 tests. I want to wait for the disappointment until next week. If it doesn't happen then, I'll do another test.

    Besides, I've had a hard belly since this morning, a pregnant-looking belly. I woke up last night because it was so hard, and I had to pee. Otherwise, I feel fine, so it's just a matter of waiting. The longer I'm late, the longer I know I could be pregnant!!

    Hi,
    I also had a quick question...
    My partner and I have decided to go for our first baby. So I stopped taking the pill on May 15th, and I still got my period from May 20th to 24th. Now it's June 23rd and I haven't gotten my period yet. I don't know if my cycle is the same as when I was on the pill, but normally I should have gotten it by now? I took a test the day before yesterday evening, and it was negative. Did I test too early? Or should I just wait a bit longer for my period or get a new test or blood test at the doctor's?     Hooi, Irish, yes! I have absolutely nothing yet! So exciting, just a lot of watery discharge for the past 2 days, and I'm extremely tired! Plus, I had some bruising on my left breast, which I've never had before, and now it looks like little blood vessels are popping up hahaah

    I'll be 7 days overdue starting tomorrow! Currently 6 weeks. My partner and I want to wait until next Tuesday to test, but I think I'll test earlier hahaha

    Hey girls, I promised to let you know if I heard anything. I'm already 8 days late (: and still no period. Luckily, I've had wet underwear every day from the discharge, and since today I've found another possible symptom: thin, white-ish cream. It looks like the cream that comes out down there from Dove. Also, those spots on my left breast down there haven't gone away yet (: or decreased, so that's definitely a sign for me too, since I've never had that for so long before, hahaha.

    And since today, I've been having pain in my lower abdomen.
    I have hard stomachs, everything is contracting, my stomach is very sensitive.
    As long as it all belongs together, I'm fine with it.

    Any news for you girls?

    Yeah, after so many years of taking the pill, it already seemed almost unbelievable that I’d get pregnant so quickly... But they stayed away for a long time...
