Haha no, it doesn't happen that fast. It has to work out financially and mentally too My husband is fine with it now, but I think I'd still want another kid in 5 years. For now, we're enjoying every day with our two kids
  2. Vivian #42

That's nice, dear, I'm quite jealous! Has your body fully recovered, or is it really different after two? You hear so many different stories about that!
  3. hartje #43

Yeah, I get it. It’s a shame that one person has to take a much longer road than the other. I hope it works out quickly for you too. Are you tracking your temperature?

Yeah, recovered faster than with the first one. Last time we only had sex after 3 months, and now after 5 weeks. This time I didn’t tear either, and the path was already paved, so that helps.
  4. Vivian #44

No, I don't keep track of my temperature! Is it still a little bit like before the births down there, or not anymore?
  5. Appelke #45

Oh my, waiting feels so long. I ovulated on May 31st. Since I have an irregular cycle, I want to test around June 15th. I'm really counting down the days.
It feels like it's taking forever...

Are there any specific symptoms that could indicate I might be pregnant before my period is due?
  6. Vivian #46

The usual things like gurgling bowels, feeling nauseous, thin discharge—you read about those a lot! Do any of those resonate with you?

Pff, I just thought my cycle was a bit normal this time! Exactly 7 days after ovulation, I suddenly got light brownish mucus/blood discharge this morning, just one tampon throughout the day. I had this 2 months ago too, do you recognize this?

So many things are running through my head that I'm scared of. First of all, 7 years ago I had a boyfriend from whom I later heard he had chlamydia. I got tested afterwards (but then had very heavy periods) and they said it wasn't a big deal, but later I started to worry that maybe I didn't take the test properly and have been carrying it all these years?? Probably this thought is just nonsense, but I'm so scared that there's something that would make it impossible for me to get pregnant!!

I do have white, thin discharge... exciting, it's almost a day closer to the due date.

Lin I totally get it. Sometimes I bled a lot. And sometimes it was so little that one panty liner was enough. Very inconsistent.
I also find it really weird.

I've also done an STI test myself. So it's probably not chlamydia. But I understand you're unsure about it.
  9. Vivian #49

But do you have weird spots, strange discharge or smell or something? Otherwise, it'll be okay!

How do they actually do an STI test?
  10. hartje #50

Vivian, now it's just the same as before from the bottom With the first one, I thought for sure it was never going to get better. And this pregnancy, I did have some discomfort from the tears of the last time during the pregnancy because everything gets bigger and stretches. But now nothing, so it hasn't gotten worse
  11. Vivian #51

Oh, that's so nice, sweetheart! You hear all sorts of horror stories about how it suddenly feels much looser, causes pain, or doesn't get wet as easily anymore... Brrr! Hihi! Luckily, that doesn't have to be the case, that's great! And your breasts are back to how they were too?

That's really awesome, having two little ones already, you!!
  12. hartje #52

With breastfeeding, it can be less wet and the hole is a bit bigger but it still shrinks further. Breasts are now still nice and big but once I stop breastfeeding they’ll become saggy and hang but it’s okay, not too bad. You can also see that you’ve had children

How long have you been doing this now?

  14. Vivian #54

Hihi sweetheart, that's true too! I didn't know they would start hanging if you stop breastfeeding! How does that feel, by the way?! Sounds so special... Around round 10, hopefully it'll work out one day! What was your trick, dear?
  15. Kelsii1990 #55

    Hi ladies,

I got pregnant twice while on the pill, sadly both times it didn't work out. Now I've been off the pill for quite a while, and round 8 proves that if you really want it, it doesn't always work out haha.

They usually say you should count up to a year before it's considered "infertile," but it can happen earlier. I'm still patient though.

Of course, you feel a bit down when it's not successful that month, but I try to stay positive. At least I don't have to swallow that crap pill anymore, and I'm becoming more and more sure I'll never go back to that mess.

Just a tip I can give: don't get too worked up (even though I sometimes still do too much). I know myself too well. I get so happy reading other people's stories where everything went well; I enjoy that already.

For me, we'll see when it happens. There's plenty of time. I'm not going to mourn or let my spirits sink. I think my time will come too haha.

    Good luck ladies,
  16. Vivian #56

Hi Kelsi! Of course, we all have our happy moment when we have a baby in our tummies! Everyone is naturally super excited about it!!

I was also thinking about the pill the other day, and how I really feel better without it! Those hormones made me feel less fit, less interested in sex, and just constantly taking pills isn't chill. What are you going to do for contraception later on? I really can't get myself to use condoms, hehe!
  17. shannah #57

I've lost track of the rounds... It took 3.5 years and I'm 26 years old. Hopefully, this isn't the case for you all. Enjoy practicing especially????
  18. Lin<3 started this #58

Sorry, I was calm for a bit, but right now I'm just a bit worried about everything. Probably just the hormones!

Have you ever experienced brown discharge/light bleeding 4 days before your period starts, before your actual period begins? And should I count from the day the brown discharge starts or from the day the period actually starts?

On Tuesday, I can go to the GGD. They'll test me again just to be sure, so at least that's one less worry.
  19. Vivian #59

Lin, what are they going to test for? A little bit of brown discharge can be anything! Don't worry
  20. Kelsii1990 #60

    hey vivian,

no condoms either, haha, so that's not gonna happen. After the first one, I'm not gonna take the pill anymore; it'll just happen when nature says so.

I'd also love to have twins now or two kids close together, that sounds lovely. After that, I'm getting an IUD, no more pills for me, bah bah hahaha.

Shannah, I hope it doesn't take that long for me, hehe, but you never know. I got pregnant twice as fast last time, and now it's taking a bit longer; I think that's weird, but anything can happen.

Lin, luckily I don't have that problem. But what I do have is that on the day I'm supposed to get my period, there's almost nothing, just a bit of pink, and then the next day I'm on my period, and then another day it's light, and then it's gone again.

It could be anything, nothing to worry about.

    love
