Mama2, I hope he finishes inside the entrance of your vagina then, at least you'll have some sperm inside, hihi! We sometimes used a condom in the time before we wanted to get pregnant, but then I noticed that he held it super long! Nice, but sometimes you're done with it too!

Lin, you normally have that fertile mucus around your egg. It's not gross, by the way, there are also occasional photos of it on the forum! Educational, you can see if you recognize it. There are also girls who check their Bm, but I'm not so up to date on that! And I wouldn't do a night out with lots of drinks if I were you...

Haha Vivian, I totally relate to that!!! When using a condom, it sometimes takes way too long, haha! I start feeling like the difficult girlfriend, but then at some point it just starts to hurt, and I think, "Come on, let's just do it!"

Still haven't had a positive ovulation test yet, hopefully a line will show up soon! I also got those Clear Blue ones, I want to try one this afternoon. I don't know, it just feels like it gives me more certainty than those little lines... Exciting!
On the one hand, I hope my cycle lasts a bit longer this time so that my next cycle falls in July, hahaha!

Hope your little one gets diagnosed soon, Lin! Yes, exactly what you said; having sex is super nice, but after a while he can just cum, hihi! Do you also manage to climax during sex? I don't miss the condom at all, it's so much nicer this way!

Just did another ovulation test, the line is starting to show up nicely. I think I'll get a positive test tomorrow afternoon, which would mean my egg is on cycle day 18. Hopefully my cycle is a bit longer than 28 days then. I'm worried that the time between ovulation and menstruation might be too short. I read that this could cause problems with getting pregnant since the egg wouldn't have enough time to implant...

Vivian finds sex really enjoyable, but I can't climax from sex alone haha! I know there are women who can, but it doesn't work for me. Luckily, there are other methods for that
  5. Vivian #25

Hi, I think that shouldn't be a problem! It could also be that your luteal phase is short, like two weeks!

Fortunately, I can still orgasm during sex, but it has to be in a special way. Unfortunately for us women, it's not as easy as it is for men, hehe! They say that if you orgasm right after or at the same time as your partner, it increases the chance of getting pregnant because the cervix dips into the semen and sucks it in. Do you usually climax beforehand through foreplay? That's what we always did, and fortunately, I do orgasm regularly during sex too. But now it's handy to come quickly after or at the same time as him...

Nope, that can totally happen at the same time, it just takes a bit of manual timing... But we're really good at timing it... I'm not, but he can always adjust well when I say it feels like it's about to happen then... Tadaaa.... Usually always together hehe!

But it's nice that it's working out for you too!! It did make me feel a bit insecure about it, but I've just accepted it!!

Yesss, I found it! There it is! Hihi
A bit later than expected, but ovulation will probably be tomorrow (day 18).
  8. Vivian #28

Hi Lin! Out of all my friends, only 1 or 2 can actually climax without any help during sex, so no need to worry about it! One of them even comes multiple times when she's really in the mood, hihi! For me, it only works when he's very deep inside and presses firmly against my pubic bone. We often climax together, but it doesn't happen every time, and that's totally fine too!

Are there other girls who can climax during sex? What's your trick?
  9. Femke Guest #29

Hey everyone. I like to read how long other women have been trying. My partner and I have been trying for about 2.5 years now and still nothing.
  10. Vivian #30

Hi Fem!! We're about at round 10. Have you been to a HA yet?
  11. Lin<3 started this #31

Hi Femke, it's nice that you're chatting along!
It's a pity that you've been trying for so long, I assume you've already seen a doctor?

My partner and I are only going to start trying next cycle (that's end of June/beginning of July) after we're married!! So I'm really hoping it doesn't take too long because I can't wait anymore!
  12. Femke Guest #32

Yes, we've definitely already done that. There's nothing wrong with us both. They say we shouldn't think too much about it and just let it happen. But that's easier said than done, I think. My boyfriend's cousin also had a really difficult pregnancy. They tried for 3 years without any issues found with both of them. And now, after 3 months, they can finally hold their baby in their arms. His sister also tried for quite a long time and already had one miscarriage. And recently, she's pregnant again. Vivian, have you been there? Lin I hope it works out quickly for you too. Glad to be able to talk about it somewhere
  13. Lin<3 started this #33

Femke, what a shock!!! Did you also have an MRI scan and stuff? A friend of mine has endometriosis; they found out about it via an MRI, and that wasn't exactly easy either!!

But here you can let it all out and get it off your chest! Hopefully, it'll be a success for you two soon—it's about time, so you can enjoy yourselves in the near future!
  14. Femke Guest #34

No, I haven't had it yet, maybe I'll ask once. I'll have to go soon anyway. And I'm hoping it's also the end of my cycle soon, so we're all crossing our fingers And will it be your first?
  15. Lin<3 started this #35

That sounds exciting! I can't wait to find out each time whether it worked or not! I'm already so eager to get started, let alone when we're actually sitting on the waiting bench!!
  16. Appelke #36

    Hi!

We've been trying for 8 months now, and for the last 5 months I've been really focused on using ovulation tests.
    I have an irregular cycle.
    Sometimes it's 18 days, other times 30.
So it's pretty tricky to figure out my fertile days. That's why I pee on an ovulation test every day—long live Action!
Last Tuesday, I got a positive test for the very first time. So hopefully, it's a hit now.

Are you already taking folic acid?
  17. Lin<3 started this #37

Heyy apple, exciting to wait, isn't it!!
We haven't really started yet, we'll start next cycle... But I've actually been taking folic acid ever since I stopped the pill. They say you should take it for at least 1 month before you want to get pregnant. And when you're pregnant, definitely until week 10.
Good luck getting pregnant, hopefully it works this time!! It seems tricky with an irregular cycle, but long live the ovulation tests!
  18. Vivian #38

Pathetic people who misuse a forum for a misleading story!
  19. hartje #39

Yeah, it's indeed really annoying every time. And every time it's someone else! Can't Brabbels just take it off?

By the way, I was pregnant for 7 months with both kids. Both daughters, and they were both born on a Tuesday at 38 weeks

Good luck with getting pregnant! The second one was with the help of ovulation tests and temperature tracking.
  20. Vivian #40

How are you doing now, sweetheart? It's nice to have you back!!! On to 3?
