Hi everyone!

I've only got a couple of weeks left until we can hold our little one in our arms, but I still have a question for the mums-to-be who are in the same situation as me, hehe.

I have long hair! So, is it helpful to give birth with long hair? Or does it just get in the way when you're pushing hard? I'm wondering if I should go to the hairdresser or not. What's your experience with long hair? I mean really long hair, down to the bum. Who can help me with this question? Thanks in advance!

Okay, it's not that long, but do you normally have trouble with it? You can wear it in a ponytail or bun... I don't think you'll have much trouble with it, you sleep with it too, right.. giving birth is hard, but from my experience, you're not so focused on your head that you'll suffer from your hair..

    Good luck with giving birth!!

Do whatever makes you feel good. I'm going to the hairdresser to look presentable for the guests. Shorter hair is quicker to style neatly than my current half-long hair. Long hair you can easily put in a ponytail for the birth, it doesn't matter.

I was so hot during my labor, so I just tied my hair up so it wouldn't stick to me.
I wouldn't cut your hair just for the sake of giving birth.

Why not just tie it up in a bun or a braid? I also have long hair and just tied it up for my first birth, and I didn’t have any issues at all.
