Hi ladies, I'm now pregnant with my third child. I was wondering, at what week do other women usually give birth to their third baby? My two daughters came much earlier than this girl But I'm not there yet, even though I'm experiencing a lot of discomfort now. I'm still enjoying the connection with her in my belly too much So it's just a question out of pure interest. To moms with three kids.

    Hi Madelene,
With me, there was no way to bring it along.
The first came at 40.5 weeks,
    the second at 39.5 weeks,
and the third was induced at 41.4 weeks because she wasn’t planning on coming on her own.
People sometimes say pregnancies are pretty similar, but according to the forum, there are exceptions (like with me ).

    Hi Naomi and Ursula
    Thanks for sharing your births.
I’ve now given birth to a little girl
    Jasmijn Fleur
I completely understand, Naomi, how much births can differ from each other.
My first came 14 days earlier than due.
Our second daughter came 8 days early.
And this third girl came 7 days later than expected.
Something I definitely didn’t expect since my other two daughters were born early.
My first birth took about 5 hours in total.
The second one was very quick, less than half an hour.
And this third pregnancy ended up being an unexpected home birth. Totally unplanned.
Right outside the door, on our way to leave for the hospital, my waters broke.
I had to rush back to the bedroom because everything started happening so fast.
It went so quickly, it was just 15 minutes in total.
The midwife said, “You’re a natural, so fast!”
If only she knew how much pain I was in.
So yeah, this little miracle clearly wanted to be born at home.
Wow, Ursula, your pregnancy toxemia sounds intense.
    I’ve also realized now
that every birth is different, even if you’ve been through it before.
There’s no way to prepare for it.
