Finally, my labor has started! I've been having contractions for an hour. But the hospital won't admit me.
What should I do?
See the forum for more info, the 3rd trimester, still not in labor

Go outside to the hospital to lie down???
Or maybe try the zoo, they have experience with elephant pregnancies.

Kil is having contractions now and you're going to make fun of me.
  3. My1987 #4

If you're having contractions, you don't even hear me talking about it.
  4. Madelene #5

Indeed, Florien, if you're already having contractions, as you claim, you can't explain this to us so calmly. And a hospital that won't help while you're having contractions? That's quite strange.

Seriously, what’s got into you and what do you think you’re trying to achieve??
  6. Anonymous Guest #7

Well, I had contractions for 26 hours before my baby was finally born after 27 hours! You can easily type, dance, and eat while having contractions, I mean it. I danced my contractions away through the pain. And I just kept eating. My midwife came to break my water, and I wasn't allowed to go to the hospital until there were about 4 minutes between the contractions, a few hours later. I don't get your blunt reaction. You can do all sorts of things to pass the time between contractions or push the pain away. If someone here says they're getting contractions, can't they?

How many babies have you had??
  8. Anonymous Guest #9

Haha, me, who had my son 2 years ago and spent 27 hours on my labor. I'm no Florien lady. I just mentioned that it's possible that your contractions start and that you then come to type. As I already said, I had more than 24 hours of contractions and wasn't allowed to go to the hospital until there were about 4 minutes between the contractions. I didn't say that was this morning.. It was 2 years ago. I do find it a bit harsh that you guys tear Florien apart and can't believe she types here that she has contractions. Because you can just type with contractions.. Why would Florien lie about that? Hope you've given birth by now Florien, enjoy it girl!

Haha, yeah, now I get it. It's pretty confusing when someone replies anonymously! She did the same thing in her other thread, so it seemed like she was the one.

    Wasn't meant badly at all.
I just thought the story as it was written at first glance seemed a bit weird.
But it was never meant to be blunt.

Haha yeah no problem, I already saw that Florien also replied anonymously for me. I'm glad you guys didn't mean it badly. I saw that someone's labor had already started here, and when I read the incredulous reactions, I thought it was kind of rude towards Florien, hence my reply. After all, I can totally understand that someone wants to share something as touching as contractions for labor between the contractions. And it's really possible that you haven't been referred to the hospital yet. I went through it too and had to wait for hours until my midwife finally gave me the green light to go to the hospital. I had to wait until the contractions came very close together. I was at home kind of dancing just for my mom and the midwife because that kind of eased the pain during the contractions, haha.. One dances, the other types, haha, there has to be a difference And I can even understand that someone is so happy and enthusiastic after giving birth, when the baby is sleeping, that they want to share it here. Especially if you've been chatting about it here for months or moms who maybe don't have anyone in their lives to share it with.. It's all possible. Well, anyway, I assume that someone here doesn't just lie about having contractions, and I hope she gave birth safely and soundly. I wish that to all of you ladies!

What you're saying could also be true, I know that. But her credibility has already dropped so much that we just can't take this seriously. Come on, 11 months pregnant with triplets, really.
I've never heard of that before! Have you? If it's actually possible, I'm genuinely embarrassed by the reaction.
  13. Anonymous Guest #14

Wow .. I didn't read anything about that.. Hahaha. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have reacted like that, Pien! This was the only post I quickly read through the topic. Otherwise, I don't know anything or have I read anything about Florien either.. I see that you know her better than I do, haha. My apologies then. And no, I don't believe anything about pregnancies of 11 months that you say, hahaha. Then you would have been induced or had a C-section long ago.. But as far as I know, there's no doctor who lets you be pregnant for 11 months, haha.
  14. Anonymous Guest #15

Ohh, I just now looked at Florien's reference to the 3rd trimester topic where she claims to be 11 months pregnant.. Hahaha I hadn't read that yet, apparently you guys did. Sorry, her credibility has now dropped to level 0 for me too.. 11 months..hahaha

Lucky! Next time I'll read the context first so I know what our reactions are based on I'm not really that bitchy, quite the opposite.

    Welcome Anon! Hahaha
  17. My1987 #18

Oh, that's sad... I don't know that yet

    Now I'm the one suffering
