Healthy snack tips

Since I have such a big craving and unfortunately for the bad stuff... any tips on what snacks are best to have at times like these that also keep you fairly full? This way I'm not really doing anything healthy for the baby..

You could make some nice salads for lunch, but you can also have them in between or a fruit salad.

Can you eat pretty much anything when it comes to salads? Or are there also things in there that you need to be careful with..

Delicious smoothies, healthy and tasty too.
Mangoes are also really nice as a snack.

I was addicted to carrots in the first few weeks. Now I eat dry crackers, pickles, cucumber, radishes, a piece of cheese, and nuts (almonds) as snacks. I try not to eat too many carbs besides my 2 pieces of fruit

Can you already see a little belly at 14 weeks?

Not really! In the evenings I have to unbutton my pants and my belly is a bit rounder. I think a real baby bump only starts to become visible from around 16 weeks. I gained 2 kilos in the first few weeks because I was snacking a lot to avoid feeling nauseous, but in the last 2 weeks I've been less nauseous and my weight has been stable. Luckily, this way I'm also managing to eat a bit healthier again.

I heard from two people this weekend that I look good, which basically means I've gained some weight. It's a bit early, but understandable given how much I'm eating! But what am I supposed to do when I get hungry... not eat at all?

Do you like rice cakes? From Zon Natura (but also from Lidl) you can get rice cakes with a small layer of chocolate. They're not too many calories.

All free of E-numbers and refined sugar! You'll have to check yourself what's in there that you like. I regularly make something from the recipes.
