A pressing feeling in the lower belly

Hey ladies,

I'm around 13 weeks pregnant and I have a pressing sensation downwards. It doesn't hurt, except for the sharp twinges I get in my left and right groin when I move suddenly (I think this is round ligament pain), but it's just this scary feeling of pressure pushing down. I was at my check-up yesterday and the doctor was moving a lot and everything was fine. Is this just my uterus growing and finding its way up (above my pubic bone) that I'm feeling? I hope someone else has experienced this and recognizes it.

    Sorry, I don't recognize it.

Hi, sounds like stretch marks or growing pains. Don't worry too much about it!

    Hey ladies
I've had a stabbing sensation for the past couple of days (like being pricked with a needle in my lower belly). It's less when I lie down but I still feel it from time to time. I called the midwife yesterday and she said not to worry, it might be related to stretching muscles. Does anyone else know this feeling?? Greetings, Anna

Had this also girls, this is band pain, your uterus is open and pulling..
It sometimes feels like menstrual pain
By the way, big congratulations on your pregnancy....
This is really a wonderful experience
