I'm so happy, I'll tell my boyfriend tonight when he gets home from work! I didn't see this coming at all and was just thinking it was the pill withdrawal! hahaha

Happy! I still can't quite believe it!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Kudos for holding out so long with the second test!!

We're not that far apart. My last period was on June 9th.
Do you have any symptoms?? I've been nauseous all day for about 5 days now.

Going to the pharmacy later to get something for the nausea and apple juice, that should help too... :-)

Yes, my son is 17 months now, so he'll be 2 years and 1 month when my second one arrives :-) With my first, I could set my clock by it... from 5 PM onwards, I was absolutely miserable, and I'd hang over the toilet 1 or 2 times. This started at week 7 and stopped at week 14. I never had issues at work, but now... PFFF

Besides the nausea, I also have a lot of pimples and sore breasts. But that's indeed the least of my worries; hopefully, those meds will work so I don't feel nauseous all day :-) Eating in the morning helps get rid of my nausea for about 15 minutes, and then I feel bad again. Then I eat a cracker, but... it only gets worse

I just wish it would quickly be 4 PM so I can run to the pharmacy, hahaha!

It probably is! Enjoy your pregnancy!

Miss V, am I seeing this right that your kid(s) are half-siblings? We're having half-siblings too, I'm so curious what it'll turn out to be
  6. Linda #46

    Haha sure! Positive is positive!
  7. Flower #47

Absolutely, anonymous.. My action test was positive and we had a really nice term ultrasound today.

Yes, super surprised and happy haha, it's unreal haha! Especially since it's your first baby, my partner is Hindu-Indonesian, I'm Dutch, so it's quite exciting to see what will come out of it haha. I'm blonde with blue-green eyes... We'll wait and see.

I'm trying to send some friend requests haha I now have a new name lotte23 and no longer anoniem2

    How are you doing?
My symptoms are decreasing a bit for me, they come back for a moment but it's getting less. I do have huge cravings for salty things like fries from mc, salty chips etc.

Coffee and sweets bah, I can't even think about it. Do you have that too?

Can't wait for the first ultrasound, just a little more patience.
  11. Miss V #51

Me for sour things and fruit! Still feeling nauseous every day... Some days are better than others. It's worse when I haven't slept well and am tired.
  12. lotte23 #52

Okay, Miss V, that's really annoying. Hope it gets better soon! Do you still have to wait for your first ultrasound, or have you already had it?
  13. Miss V #53

I have my first ultrasound tomorrow..
  14. lotte23 #54

Oh how exciting, miss v! Let us know tomorrow how it went. I’m really curious! You also had an early ultrasound, but there are often reasons for that, right?

    Girl, good luck!
  15. Miss V #55

I'll definitely let you know, but there's no special reason. I'm from Belgium and was already five weeks pregnant when I called to make an appointment
  16. lotte23 #56

Okay, are you in Belgium getting your ultrasound a bit earlier? Okay, exciting! I'll have to wait until Aug 11st... pff, I can't wait actually, haha
  17. Miss V #57

The first one is done around 7 to 8 weeks I had to wait two weeks.. I thought that was already long hihi. But your patience will be rewarded
  18. lotte23 #58

Yeah, I feel the same! It feels like it's taking forever! Waiting until Aug 11st, pff, and then you're also kind of scared, all sorts of thoughts go through your head, like, is the little heart beating properly, etc... And then it still feels like it takes so long.

Hi, I'm new here. It can indeed happen very quickly. I stopped the pill and got pregnant right away. So happy. My dream came true, I thought, but because I got pregnant so fast, it ended in a miscarriage at 7 weeks. Unfortunately. This was because there were still hormones from the pill in my body. But now I'm 100% focused on having a healthy baby. Hope it happens quickly again haha, so much has been done, so I'm curious.

Aah, that's so annoying! Hopefully, it'll be successful again soon! Good luck!
