sore breasts

Hi!

I've had sore breasts from the start of my pregnancy. I can't stand wearing clothes, and it feels like someone's stabbing a knife into my chest. Any tips on how to relieve this? Or anyone else experienced this? My gynecologist says it's normal, but sometimes the pain brings me to tears. Other friends have had some discomfort, but no one can confirm it being this severe.

    Hi Marij,

That can definitely be part of it. I had the same with one of my pregnancy bras; as soon as I could, I stopped wearing one because it hurt too much. It should ease up eventually.

    Best,

I had this during my first pregnancy too, so I pretty much knew for sure that I was pregnant.
    Nervous and sensitive.

I'm curious how it'll go with the second pregnancy because they say every pregnancy is different.

    But yeah, it's definitely over.

So relatable! For me, it helped to wear a well-fitting bra so my saggy breasts didn’t move too much.
But luckily, it’s almost completely gone after the first trimester. My breasts are still a bit more sensitive than usual, but definitely not painful anymore.
    Good luck!

I also have very painful breasts.. especially when sleeping on my side... got a tip from a cousin by marriage to buy a kind of sports bra at Zeeman for 2.99... works perfectly for me!!!
It's not very charming.. but for going to sleep I'm fine with not having painful breasts..

It's not so much pain but ITCHING!!! I'm going completely crazy!

The only thing that helps me a bit is applying, applying, applying... preferably putting the cream in the fridge beforehand.
