1st trimester

Hi everyone!
I tested positive 2 weeks ago, yay! Unfortunately, that pink cloud was shattered last week. I suddenly got some brown spotting, and the GP said that happens quite often.
On Tuesday, it turned bright red without any clots, and last night I had to go to the OB-GYN. He searched for a while and then said, "I see that something must have been there because there was a black ring visible and thickened lining." I asked if he was sure it was a miscarriage, and he confirmed it was.
What I'm struggling with now is that I have very painful and tender breasts and I'm really tired, so the symptoms are still there. I have to go back on Tuesday to see if everything has passed. The bleeding has already stopped since last night. It feels a bit strange for a miscarriage not to have passed the lining yet.
I have the feeling that he did the ultrasound too early, because apparently my uterus was also tilted quite far back.
Has anyone else experienced something like this?
