I should be around 9 weeks pregnant now. I had my second ultrasound yesterday and was told that the baby is too small and that we should assume a miscarriage.

Now I've been doing the math myself and I'm wondering if I might be less than 9 weeks pregnant and if it's actually correct that the baby is smaller? February only had 28 days.

Sorry, I wasn't finished yet... February 25th was the first positive test... That was 5 weeks ago, so how can I be 9 or 10 weeks pregnant?
I hope someone can help me think through this, I feel so awful and sad ????

Hi Kimmy, that's indeed not possible then. If I were you, I'd just wait a bit longer and get another ultrasound in 2 weeks. According to my calculations, I was 6 weeks pregnant with my 5th baby, but the ultrasound showed nothing, and they told me the same thing they told you. So I assumed it wasn't going to work out. 2 weeks later, I had another ultrasound, and I was actually 8 weeks pregnant! So girl, keep the hope alive!!

hi silly, thanks for your reply.
You mean it's not possible that I'm 10 weeks along?
But my last period was around Jan 25th. And then they calculate it as about 9 weeks now.

    Pfff, what do you think?

I just calculated it, and 9 weeks would be correct. When did you have your ultrasound? And was the heartbeat there too? With mine, they saw nothing at 6 weeks, and then 2 weeks later, suddenly a heartbeat, and the pregnancy duration was 8 weeks, so exactly my calculation.

Had the first ultrasound on 16-3 and the second last Thursday. The baby had a heartbeat both times and had grown a bit. But since it was 6 weeks last Thursday, it looks like a miscarriage will happen.
I tested positive for the first time on 25/2... that was only 5 weeks ago. How can I have an ultrasound after just 2 weeks and am I not 7 weeks pregnant?

Sweet that you're thinking along... Another ultrasound on Thursday (if I don't get anything/blood in the meantime).

Aaaa girl, you can't mean that, how sad.
I know how it feels, I've been through it myself 3 times. I wish you all the strength in the world with this loss.
Hopefully I'll hear from you again soon. xxx silly

That's so sad to read, Kimmy. What a shock and sorrow. I hope there's a good explanation soon and that the rest of your pregnancy goes well. Let yourself be spoiled by those around you. Strength.
