can't wait for the first ultrasound

As Thursday I have my first ultrasound at 11+4 weeks. I have full confidence that everything is fine... but I'm just so curious! I haven't seen, heard, or felt anything except for a dark line on a pregnancy test. This is the only real proof I have that I'm pregnant... not very much, of course, since I also have the usual symptoms... but I was wondering if there are other women who experience it this way too? And how they cope with it... I'm just curious;-). It's only two more days until I'll see our little one for the first time... but it feels so far away!!! :-)

Wow, you had to wait a really long time for your ultrasound, huh! Respect to you! Although it wasn't entirely voluntary, of course I can understand why you can't wait anymore now... it's so close! And it's great that you don't have any unpleasant symptoms... That seems like a very good sign, right? Did you take another pregnancy test in the meantime? Maybe that gives you some extra reassurance

I also have an ultrasound on Thursday... I'm getting an early scan and a normal one, around 11 weeks. I'm really happy about this early scan because I do have some unpleasant symptoms (sometimes a little bit of bleeding) which makes me feel very unsure. Hopefully, the ultrasound will confirm that everything is okay! I hope it goes so well. And for me, this week is really dragging by

I randomly got a set from MVM because the first test was super faint... I did it two weeks ago and it couldn't have been clearer! But still... you see a little line... and that's it... Somehow I just can't quite grasp it because of that. With my first pregnancy, I had one because of a light bleed I had back then... really scary, of course... but there was nothing wrong... Maybe because this time it's going so smoothly, it just takes longer! But... today is already half over! Saves half a day! Pity I only have an ultrasound on Thursday evening at 7... I'll probably be super nervous all day;-) But thanks anyway for your reply! I think it's nice for other ladies that they get ultrasounds more often... I'm a little jealous of that... but then again... they usually get them because something went wrong in the past or there's a high expectation of complications... so yeah... is waiting so bad?... Maybe I'd rather have it this way after all....

I totally get you! I wouldn't be able to wait until 11 weeks for a first ultrasound either. I think it also depends on where you live and what the standard is there for a first scan. The dating scan is between 10 and 12 weeks for everyone, and for many women, it's also the first one. In my area, they have a new project (not that long ago) where the first scan (viability scan) is done around 7 or 8 weeks. A gynecologist is also present, and they hope to detect medical indications early on (or something like that... it was a long and complicated story )

Since my boyfriend is away for work all next week, we were allowed to come in a bit earlier. Also, I did have a miscarriage last month... that probably makes me more anxious now with the bleeding.

It's nice that things went fine for you back then haha you got through half a day indeed! Maybe you should make a calendar where you can cross off the half-days you've had! Just put a big thick cross in it let yourself go!

Hey! Unfortunately, I had bright red blood today No clots and no cramps yet, so it doesn't have to be anything serious, but it did scare me... I can't wait anymore I want clarity!

Hope I can sleep haha, I got him in the afternoon, you in the evening though?? Exciting!!
