Cerclage

Hi everyone,

I was looking for some peers who are also pregnant with a cerclage.
In 2013, we lost our first son at 21 weeks due to a weak cervix and an infection. Whether the cervix was the deciding factor for the preterm birth or the infection, we'll never know for sure.
Now I'm pregnant again and got a cerclage at 13 weeks.

I'm incredibly scared. Sometimes I feel like I have hard contractions, but they don't hurt. The cervix was already softened at 13 weeks but was still 3.69 cm long. Now at 17 weeks, it's still about the same length. Still, so many thoughts go through my head. Will this work out? Is what I'm feeling okay? Now that my belly is starting to grow, I think every time my cervix can't handle it....

Are there any ladies in the same situation or who have been in it and would like to share some advice?
